Woodthorpe and Clarke have returned, a good time to get them back in the squad to add some more depth / options

Get Woodthorpe in at Left back. Burke into midfield. And surely Zack Clarke must be a better bet than Windsor or Norton upfront. It can't be any worse than the last 2 performances.

Exactly, the current midfield isn’t working at the moment. Put Woodthorpe at Left Back, and Burke into the middle. If fit I would play Hall, Caton and Peers as a front Three. 5 Centre midfielders doesn’t work,

I am pleased to read that Clarke has been brought back. I watched the recent game between Caernarvon & Colwyn Bay & Clarke was impressive. Beside scoring he was not afraid to shoot & he was certainly the best striker on view. I do not know how to judge between the Welsh Premier League & Conference North but he deserves a chance as the strikers covering for our injured players have certainly not done the business. Hope he is injury free soon.

Thought in his brief cameo against Gloucester that Nathan Woothorpe looked very comfortable. A good addition to the squad as we head into the second half of the season.

Woodthorpe looked comfortable in the back three when he came on. Wouldn’t say he’s a Taylor replacement - that’s Heywood.

He might be a left back in a four where Coates bombs on, and the other three cover across. Agree he doesn't look an overlapping wing back. Could be a decent option where the opposition use the aerial bombardment stuff particularly away from home.

I do think the sort of 3-4-2-1 we played on Saturday looked good (Robbo in a back three and Murray and Glendon the central 2 behind Peers) - although the opposition were the worst side we've played this season by a long shot.

Waste of time bringing Clarke back if your not going to play him

Waste of time bringing Clarke back if your not going to play him Baffling how Norton gets on the pitch ahead of Clarke who we've just recalled.

We were flattered by how poor Gloucester were. Its very limiting playing 1 up front when you play 3 at the back. That means 6 in midfield. I never like having a midfield player as the 2nd striker. Especially one like Glendon who is a passer of the ball. It just leaves you short in the box. The opposition have an easy time as no one runs in behind, except the lone striker which then means no one in the box for the cross. Everything happens in front of their back four. We've had Nantwich, Warrington, Rushall and Buxton recently. The difference from those and the Southport and Curzon games is night and day.

Not one of our players, but our recent loanee Maguire has joined Chorley on loan for the remainder of the season. Its sod's law that he'll probably end up scoring against us next Tuesday
