Read lots lately of Bank closures and you would normally associate it with "smaller communities".
However I see today Barclays are shutting their branch in Rhyl, a population of close on 30k.
Whilst I realise most people will say stuff like "move with the times" etc if you do have a problem with your bank have you ever tried getting through to them?

I think a lot of people don't realise that you can do many banking services at the Post Office, including withdrawing and depositing cash. But yeah, banks are bastards, and there will come a day when they only have branches in big cities. I think what annoys me most about it is they're often based in listed or expensive buildings that fall into disrepair when they move out because nobody else can afford them.
