We (Tribal Society team) took the trip with the players to Scunthorpe on Saturday, our first away game. We expected a decent following, and have been told how good the fans are. What I witnessed on Saturday was absolutely nothing I expected, I've never seen a fanbase sing for 90 minutes straight, it was one of the best games of football I've ever seen. I can say confidently on behalf of the tribal team, we've all fell in love with Chester FC just like you guys did when you were introduced to this special football club. A lot of fans were confused by this 'partnership', to summarise, we believe Chester FC is the biggest thing in Chester, we want to produce content with the club, and offer a huge insight along with an entertainment factor, we want to give away as much stuff as we can to the fans, essentially, just get involved, engaged and communicate with the wonderful fans. We documented our whole trip to Scunthorpe, meeting the players on the coach, pre-match food, team meeting, everything. We're uploading the video on our YouTube at 5pm (link below). I want to see what the fans think of this unofficial partnership and the content. All feedback is appreciated, and if you get the chance, please subscribe. Up the seals. 🔵 www.youtube.com/channel/UCfTRrlXWbdcawjlM2ZrdaNg

Love this collaboration and will certainly pop into your shop in Chester with my son for a browse next time I’m over. However, any chance you know any celebs (or decent businessmen) with a few £m burning a hole in their pockets? Because if you thought Saturday was great, imagine being there and part of getting Chester to a point where we play Hollywood FC and win! Legend status that would be!!!!!

Think what’s also shown here is the effort behind the scenes to run a match day squad. Coach, hotel booking for food, logistics and then overnight stays etc. Loads of things we don’t think of so hats off to the club.

Bit of an abrupt ending to what was otherwise a good insight into the day. I think a brief after match summary of the day and what the film makers thought, then seeing the coach pulling back into Chester would have been a more fitting end.

About this - we had lots of footage post match but all the audio was screwed so I apologise about the ending 💙

Respect to you/your business for getting involved with your local football club. Hopefully you end up getting some custom from supporters in return. Assuming we make the play-offs, those would be good games to get footage down the line.

By the looks of it you have enjoyed a jolly, just unsure what the club are getting out of this relationship.
To put my mind at ease perhaps you could tell us what you have contributed so far?

Cal got a nice bag of goodies in his shop visit video. All for building relationships with local businesses but it would be interesting to know what the club are benefitting from this. Good idea though, if there is space on the team coach and they are happy for people to tag on with the experience, could be a good thing to raffle off and raise some funds.

Exposure. A video showing the club in a good light and the fans having a good time has been viewed nearly 4,000 times in 24 hours. All three videos they've done with us combined nearly 10,000 times.
Hasn't cost us anything and Tribal Society get there name out there. Seems like a mutually beneficial arrangement to me.

Miserable lad you Think the right term is "old". Not trying to be ageist here but I suspect a fair few elder Chester fans don't really know or understand the benefits of social media from an exposure/sponsorship perspective.

When we first met with the club, one of the aims was to make more people aware of the club, and hopefully bring more people to games, and create a bigger fan base. Our sole aim in this is to create content around Chester, offer the behind the scenes access in a positive light. Along with making more people aware of this wonderful club. I appreciate everyone who has tried to clear this up for us. Thanks guys 💙

Thanks for the insults lads.
To be fair, as a stakeholder in a fan owned club, I feel it is a perfectly acceptable and necessary question to ask.
Let's face it there were plenty of people on here creaming themselves over Murphy at the outset of his "relationship" with the club.

The enthusiasm Rhiad, Adam and the rest of the Tribal Society team have for CFC is refreshing, and not something we see much of in the city.
They reached out after identifying the reach of the club, a shared target demographic and have lots of ideas about how they can use their skills and resources to grow the club’s profile and audience, both locally and online.
The Scunthorpe game was our idea and hopefully it’s given our supporters some extra insight into the work Calum, his staff and players put into a matchday.
We’re benefitting from professional quality content at zero cost and a really positive partnership with a business based in the city centre, which might create some exciting opportunities in the future.
Oh and Calum got a pair of sunglasses. 🤣
