So then, as the title suggests, who would your current starting 11 be, based off our signings so far. Fill every position, but feel free to add a star next to a name of a player where you feel we may need a new signing. Also add a (C) for who you believe should be captain. Here's mine... Lynch
Halls McCombe Astles Horwood*
Mahon Turnbull (C) Shaw* Chappell*
Hannah White

Looks like we're on a similar wavelength here then.. I'd probably replace Chappell with Waters so all 3 of us so far have the exact same lineup, the exact same captain and the same stars for new signings...

Apologies in advance for waffling on a bit, but you know me by now.
I’d go along with what’s already been mentioned on the whole. I doubt we’ll sign another wide midfielder, I think the likes of Chapell, Waters, Davies & Horwood will scrap it out for that slot that looks up for grabs on the other side to Mahon.
Chapell is an interesting one I find, so far he’s been pretty disappointing if we’re being honest, but he’s undoubtedly shown flashes of ability, not least last season before his season ending injury. With stronger types like Turnbull around him I wouldn’t be surprised if he shows just that bit more again. Perhaps he is the type who needs to be carried a bit. On the ball he looks good and his technical ability is promising but he really has to show us what he’s made of now.
In an ideal world I think we need another five myself, x2 central midfielders, a left back, defensive cover (centre back who can play right back) and a reserve keeper. I’m not sure the budget will stretch that far and maybe we’ll have to contend with just one more midfielder instead of two, but at this moment with Shaw looking to wind down, Wade Joyce looks a bit too far up the pecking order for my liking. I’d quite like to keep Dawson on if we can as I think there’s something to work with there.

Mahon has been plagued by injury last season and we can't afford that to happen again. You never really know with Chappell yore going to get, although he does tend to be hard working. I think if Mahon gets injured it's a lot of pressure on waters to fill the gap, I'm not sure JM would want to be dependant on him every game just yet. If happily sign only one CM if it meant attracting another winger.

I think we'll see Akintunde and Bell in attacking midfielder positions as well with White and Hannah upfront
