Probably much of the same I imagine. We'll need fans to give to Boost the Budget to give Calum the best chance of putting a squad together, perhaps some updates on matchday experience for next season (fan zone).

If this is streamed you really need to use microphones as couldn’t hear hardly anything last time.

Why is the sound quality always so awful?

Struggle to watch these as they always appear so awkward when someone asks a ridiculous question.

Fan Zone looks a cracking idea and a way we, as a club, can work smarter with our money and increase revenue. However, no one addressed the very very poor standards of the current kiosk catering.

Anything come out of the meeting?

Anything come out of the meeting? Difficult to know with the below par sound quality. Trying to attract more CFU members, possible increase in yearly sub. Brackley fiasco, for which the police accepted no responsibility, has cost at least £45-£50k in fixed costs (fines, implementation of new procedures, more stewards, additional police, etc.) not including possible lost revenue from sold out Harry Mac, no cash payments, lost sponsors. All a loss from the playing budget. Fan Zone proposal behind Harry Mac. Metal railings in East and West stands to be installed on stairs. Disabled access area proving a real headache (both planning wise and financially) and request for anyone with experience in such things to contact the Board.

Why is the sound quality always so awful? This is not a professionally streamed event and is volunteers trying to do their best to benefit fans who can’t attend for good reason.

There was also a conversation on how to increase cfu numbers and profile, including a more representative and identifiable name. Especially among younger supporters. The new board members seemed a competent bunch of additions to the board.

Glad this has been mentioned hopefully we make it £5 a month minimum the extra funds would really help us especially with BTB on the decline this season and potentially next.

Skimmed through the recording and it is difficult to make stuff out with the sound. When Kieron was using the headset at the start I could though with the volume on full.

Can’t be that difficult surely. The headset that Kieron used at the start of the meeting was passed to individuals who were asking questions but did not seem to be as good when others used it. It’s not ideal but if possible it is best to attend the meetings so that those volunteers who give endless hours for our club feel valued. There will be some (exiles for example) who can’t attend but there will be many who just don’t bother. The more that do attend will enable greater discussions and spark new ideas. After all this is a supporter owned club that is it flush with money so any help any of us can provide will be most welcome.

I take it you are in the CFU and will be happily paying the extra subs, given how often you’ve called for it?

Just a reminder to all that the cost of membership is a minimum of £12. If you pay by dd its a minimum of £2 per month, but you can pay whatever you choose. Not many people would miss £2 per month. They did say that having a larger membership gave them a bigger impact when talking to local businesses and potential new sponsors ans sticking it up to £5 a month might impact those who only sign up to get tickets before big games.
