With Luke George having left the club I feel it's now time to close the chapter on what has happened in the past. For the benefit of attracting a new generation of fans let's have a thread with no mention of previous players or past injuries.
As of 10th. June 2017 Chester FC have so far assembled what looks to be a balanced squad with a good mixture of both potential and experience. All positions seem well covered within a variety of team formations, and in most cases there is adequate cover emerging. Hopefully the next eight weeks will add the final pieces of the jigsaw and we can start the new season with expectant optimism, a great set of fans and a new generation of people eager to become dedicated new fans.
I'm really looking forward to pre-season and to at least 2500 watching our opening home league game.
