Sounds good to me Nice to see our club positively engaging with new technology and digitalisation. It is the future after all. Before anyone posts on here, Albert has confirmed on Twitter, that physical season tickets can still be provided upon request. So everyone should be happy, right?!?!

If this system is what I think it is. I would have two prices for everything, one for fans with the Fanbase card, and prices for those without.

I think it is a system where basically you put money onto the club card, and then can spend money from that. Whilst in the mean time, the club will have money in their account and will gather interest from it.

If this system is what I think it is. I would have two prices for everything, one for fans with the Fanbase card, and prices for those without. I believe that it's a Fanbase App, not a Fanbase card. Are you suggesting that season ticket holders and buyers of match day tickets should pay different prices dependent on whether they have it on their phones or require a physical ticket? There are plenty of fans who do not have smart phones and they should not be penalised for it. To do so is discriminatory and creates first and second class supporters. Remember, we are City Fans United.

Do we have to register on the new system or will all the current data be loaded into it.

One of the big advantages of the Fanbase platform is the app, which you can download for free on Apple/Android. The app includes a digital wallet for season tickets, match tickets and potentially hospitality and memberships, as well as content and notifications. If you don't wish to use the app, you can access everything through the website as you do now.
Fans who prefer to pay at the turnstile (contactless) or ticket office (cash) will still be able to do so. Ticket prices across the website, app and ticket office will be the same, i.e. there will be a small saving if you buy in advance compared to buying on matchday.
Like many clubs, we are moving towards 'digital-first' which we believe will make for a faster, smoother experience, and save the club time and money. Albert touched on this in his update this week, but we will be encouraging digital season tickets, however there will still be an option for a physical season ticket card for those supporters who want one. This will probably be Ā£2, which is what it costs the club to have them produced.
We will be migrating all existing data from Kaizen to Fanbase.

Since reformation, all season tickets whether paper in a plastic folder or a plastic card have been provided as part of the ticket price. Also, fees for match day ticket transactions have been covered in the basic price despite many other clubs charging an 'admin' fee from 40p to 95p. Why the change now? There will be a saving on physical tickets for everyone who uses the App. Isn't that enough? This is just an attack on those supporters who can't or won't use Apps. Disgraceful.

If the club is buying 1000 plastic STs then theyāll be significantly cheaper per item Iād expect. If youāre insisting on a physical ticket then youāre costing the club we own money, so yes you should cover that cost. You donāt have to use the app, you could print out your ticket yourself & bring it with you. Save you the Ā£2 & you still have a physical ticket.

It looks more likely that we will be in National league North again next season. With that said letās hope the club offer early bird season tickets as soon as they can. This will include Callumās position next season. Also a couple of decent pre season friendlies at home or local away would be good in stead of the multiple games that fans have no interest in. Maybe have a pre season friendly ticket for Ā£15 that gives you access to all home friendly games?
