What happens if the worst happens do we go with 23 teams? York get a reprieve. They have been informed of the situation and are ready to regain their place if the worst does happen to Orient.

Apparently Becchetti has cleared the debts and and there are genuine buyers waiting in the wings, so we will see.
I think they will be all right.
Becchetti (also known as Mad Frankie) should share the blame with Hearn, who obviously didn't do any research on the person buying the club. It would seem that Becchetti was just incompetent and just couldn't run a football club and made some crazy decisions.

From the brink of the Champtioship a few years ago, playing the likes of M'Boro, Derby, Forest, Wednesday and others....to playing against Boreham Wood on a Tuesday night in front of 500, their demise is shocking. Reminds me of Blackpool since their relegation from the PL.

Can see Orient going the same way as we did in 2009. They may start the season but whether they'll finish it is another matter.
Very sad what's going on there, all caused by one man.

Very sad indeed and I'm afraid I feel the worse for them. Good luck to them.

A takeover has been completed with Nigel Travis, owner of Dukin' Donuts replacing the evil Francesco Bechetti. I'm happy for the fans in particular as they won't have to deal with Bechetti killing the club and now they can be more happier. Still though, they don't have the squad to compete this season, but good luck to them.

Apparently they've only got about 3 youth players signed on, but Becchetti no longer being involved will bring a feel-good factor back to the club.
Wouldn't mind visiting them for our first fixture.
