Bordering on a national treasure as far as I'm concerned. Indispensable advice in times of austerity and a cost of living crisis, while at the same time frequently calling out the people responsible for it, such as the government and energy company cowboys.

Yes but, he does tend to say the obvious, and usually stuff that has already appeared on other websites.
Personally I think he is both.

However, he has managed to get the message out to the masses better than anyone previously has. I think he has a genuine desire to get people to find the help that's out there, and to highlight where that help should be there. Without him a lot of people would be far worse off. He's got through to those who wouldn't normally take interest in those things or know what to do. A lot of older people aren't up to speed with that stuff. |
