Having watched Crewe F.C. twice in recent weeks and with their current form I would suggest we may well be visiting Gresty Rd. next season.

I've been to their ground once before. It's nice but the main Stand towers above the others.

I'll be happy to see them brought down a leg or two.
Chester, Wrexham, Tranmere, Stockport and Crewe potentially in the same league next year. Good crowd numbers at the very least!

If that came to pass (and I know there's a lot of ifs) + add in a couple of "moneybags" outfits e.g Fylde and it would be one helluva competitive league! Also, a few more nearby awaydays as the Southern loading of clubs this season has made it difficult for me to get to as many as I'd wish

Sinking like a stone, but I don't think they will go down. Their half decent start to the season that they did have will go a long way to ensuring their survival at least. But imagine them coming down, with Accrington, Wrexham, Tranmere, Stockport coming up with Fylde (or even Chorley should Stockport not do it) and there is a bloody tasty selection of fixtures to sink our teeth into on Fixture Release Day!

May just be coincidence but the abuse scandal coming to light seems to have taken its toll on the Alex, even though the events were long before the current crop of players were on the scene. Their recent form has been very poor. Big test for Artell, he certainly hasn't enjoyed the best of starts results-wise.

I think Newport are pretty much doomed. I wonder if Graham Westley still has his dossier from 2003 on "how to beat Chester." One of the most odious people in the game. Who will join them? Who knows. Can't see Notts County going down, nor Crewe. There's a lot of turmoil at Leyton Orient at the minute so I think it could be them who suffer.

Can't stand Westley, but I wouldn't rule Newport out just yet. Think they've taken four points from the last two games and are within touching distance of the others now. One club who aren't really getting mentioned but are still deep in trouble are Cheltenham, in danger of being the first side to be relegated straight back down to this level. They will probably stay up but they seem to be back where they were two years ago in terms of struggling to stay in the Football League, rather than pushing on.

Just to be pessimistic, we could end up with losing Tranmere and Lincoln through promotion and Southport, York, North Ferriby and Guisley through relegation and gaining Newprt and Orient plus Fylde and Kiddie plus two from the Nat League South. and end up with an even more southern bias to the National League.

Crewe and Notts County to come down, that's my prediction. Although due to location I'd be very happy with Newport and Cheltenham.

I certainly hope not, plus it would cost more money for us (the fans) and the club.

Being down south, I would love to have Orient in our league.

Where on earth did Crewe's 5-0 win over Grimsby come from today? Also a vital win for Notts County over Cheltenham, who are still deep in trouble along with a few others.
