Seems fair enough to me. But you'll never please some people.

Seems an honest interview and good to see it all work out for everyone. Odd that he mentions he couldn't commit full time because of the wage offered but sharps could commit full time on his wage...must be after a fair bit more than what sharps was on

I can accept that the farcical assistant manager situation last season was not entirely down to him, but ever since he first turned up under Burr, I am still struggling to see what CI brings. It would be very disappointing if he is taking a wage from the club for his "services" this season, as I am sure the money could be put to much better use. Other than Wade Joyce , the only negative signing of the pre season !

I'm personally happy with this. It gives the opportunity to our strikers to work with a guy who has played at the top level, who himself will be earning very little in such a role. That's an honest interview, and thankfully the assistant manager situation is now sorted, so he can just concentrate on the coaching side of things and Shaw seems like a good candidate to work with Macca as assistant.

Sharps may have had a job that earned a lot less than Chris initially. Nobody can afford to take a huge pay cut. I imagine CI's media work is better paid that what we could have offered, which is fair enough.
