Players are training 5 days a week so they can have weekends off with thier family before season starts

Do any other clubs negotiate with their fans like this? I don't think so! This is a great incentive and whether I have school or not, I will definitely be attending this event. I already can't wait.

What a great evening it was, showing the true values of a community club. Jon McCarthy was having some jokes and was chatting to the fans, Mark Maguire went over to a lot of supporters as well as the players who had a lot of time for all of us. It was a really successful event overall and thoroughly enjoyed by myself as well.
Can't wait to get started now!

Today was a spare of the moment thing for me,but £60 down the line after a new away top and a few in the blues bar well worth it. Looking forward to next season 😀

Anyone know where we can find any pictures of the day? My wife took our little one down there to get in the big team picture and would be nice to keep a copy of it.

It's a good job Astles is a good player, i don't think any defender could ever get away with being that sort of weight! I still think he needs to drop a stone or so for the new season to be the player that he is capable of becoming, but obviously i'm not his manager. Does look a hefty lad in that photo for a footballer, and i'm a big fan of his.

When I saw him yesterday he loooked nearly as tall as Astles, which looks promising. |
