If people can afford to renew before early bird offer expires then they will do and would have done. Don't think the club should be badgering those that haven't done so yet, for whatever reasons, over the phone.

Nothing wrong with calling up fans and asking them if they plan to renew, as long as there is no pressure on them to do so. A bit of interaction can go a long way sometimes. Even if from the calls they get an extra 30 ST holders, its potentially several thousand in the till. At least this year we're doing what we can to interact with people, with the 'team photo' event and the calls. Last season we complained of not doing enough, there always seems to be a gripe with some people, not aimed at you Joey. |

Over a hundred people called tonight - really positive response. No-one objected to being called - far from it. Some grateful for the reminder of the early bird cut off, some not renewing but all for really understandable reasons - moving away, not being able to make enough games etc. And some great chats about the forthcoming season.
