Sadly Dave Parsonage passed away a few days ago after a long illness. Dave will be remembered by many people in the Blues Bar and those who sat near him behind the home dugout! He was a passionate supporter of Chester FC and will be sadly missed. His funeral is at 09:20 on Thursday 29th June at Blacon crematorium.

Dave was a lovely bloke, always had a smile on and quick to help out. He bought the fledgling youth team their first bibs and balls out of his own pocket back in 2010.
I know his health hasn't been good for a while, but he was taken too young. RIP Dave, you will be sadly missed. Thoughts go to his family.

Talking with NY today and he told me that it was Dave who instigated the introduction between the football club and Neil. Looks like we owe him a debt of gratitude far greater than I realised. |

Remember he came to watch the official CFC Supporters Team's 24-hour event at Goals for Comic Relief. He watched the entire thing and we all thought he was mad but as it is, he was simply a bloke who absolutely loved everything to do with our club. RIP.
