Great news - new website launches tomorrow (30th June) following great partnership working between CFC and MBNA. Fantastic to see that we'll finally have access to free highlights and other media content.

This is superb and something I've been hoping for since we reformed. An independent bespoke website is what a fan-owned club deserves.
The free highlights package is also well overdue - I hated the subscription highlights with a passion!
So a massive hats-off to CCFC and MBNA! We're really starting to get to where a fan-owned club should be.

A huge amount of time and energy has gone into this, from people who were doing it in their own free time and commitments. It's easy to criticise sometimes, but along with the guys at MBNA, our own team at Chester should be applauded for the hours spent in meetings to make sure that we have the best possible website that will take this club to the next level. Let's not forget, this will cost none of us a bean to use or access and not one of the individuals involved in its development have earned a penny either.
I can't wait until tomorrow. 🔵⚪️

Incredible achievement to all that arranged and been involved in this project. It sounds fantastic and all involved should be proud. Also the addition of CFCTV with it being free will be great for the club (if done to a good quality). We really are putting the infrastructure down to grow the club this year.
My only one concern is how website will be maintained but i'm sure that has been accounted for.

My only one concern is how website will be maintained but i'm sure that has been accounted for. I too thought this. It's great having an all singing, all dancing website but IF the MBNA agreement did ever end and we lost their tech support, we need to be able to update it easily. I'm guessing the techy stuff will pretty much look after itself after the initial setup and the club non techys can then use a content management system to update the content.... A great website is only as good as the updates it does (or doesn't) get... Anyway I'm sure it's all been thought of so let's start positive about this great news.

This is all well and good, and it is, but the most important thing is for the site to be regular updated with content. I look forward to it.

Exciting times, and a stressful day for the media team involved in setting it up and getting it live.
Looks as though switchover taking place at present with the current holding page.
Good luck to everyone involved and remember, patience is the key today!
Given the tremendous work that the media team do, I have completely faith in them to deliver the content required to make it work on an ongoing basis.

Having been responsible for project managing the creation and launch of a number of large and complex websites myself I fully understand the difficulties involved.
The tech side is often relatively straightforward for those people who know what they are doing in that area. The difficult bit is interpreting the needs of the user and making sure that happens on screen. Then checking and double checking the myriad of links and navigation routes around the site. This could only have been done by "owner" of the project - the volunteers. Hats off to them. Goodness knows how many collective hours they will have put in. Thanks guys!
So my hope is that we, the users, show some patience and understanding when the website rolls out. It cannot be to everyone's personal taste, there will be initial glitches, there will need to be some minor fixes. I am sure the team will, eventually not immediately, welcome feedback.
Let's be positive. Let's be appreciative. Let's enjoy it!

Looks brilliant actually. Well done to all involved. The table is looking rather nice too, sitting a pretty 5th without conceding a goal!!

Looks great, and looks as though Blues Live commentary will be free to air next season for all?
So much better than the last thing we had.

Truly a big step forward, the site looks good, clean front end, not too busy, is very easy to navigate. I am sure people will enjoy using the site and hopefully return time and time again. A big well done to all involved.

Any information on how to get on it? Type 'www.chesterfc.com' into the address bar. Anyone know if direct debits to Blues Live etc automatically cancels? Might get another lottery entry to compensate.
