Anyone know who we are likely to sign to fill the number 13 shirt? I know there's always great debate about whether to have a goalkeeper on the bench at this level, with limited subs. But we do need some sort of competition for Lynch to avoid complacency.

I reckon it will be a goalie.

JMcC wants a 'keeper, a defender and Dawson to complete his squad but all this hinges on what's happening with Alabi.

I wouldn't read too much into the squad numbers. In most cases, players have just kept the same numbers they had last season.

In most cases, players have just kept the same numbers they had last season. Agree but i think Chaps and Mahon will be considered our first choice wide players personally. Can't see who else would. I must admit, i think we could ruffle some feathers this season if, and only if, players are played in their correct positions and we stick to the basics. None of that 3 at the back rubbish that we kept trying, players at this level are tactically gifted enough to adapt to it.
