Does anyone know when the season tickets can be collected? Lawrence Kirby said at the CFU meeting last night they may be available for collection from next Friday, so it doesn't look like tomorrow sorry.

I would have thought that they would at least be ready for today, but it seems as if everyone will have to hurry to get them now.

I agree Rio it is a bit late however assuming most/all season ticket holders will be going to the first home game I would assume they could pick them up before the match if they cant get down to the stadium beforehand

Guessing here, but it's more than likely out of the club's hands. They are probably waiting on the tickets to be sent printed/sent to them etc. They extended the early bird deadline (for which I'm personally thankful for) plus once they have everything it'll likely take a day or two to put everything together and organise, by volunteers. Cut them a bit of slack. First game is over a week away.

The fans requested an extension to the early bird scheme, the club listened and acted, and presumably both the club and some fans benefited. The knock on effect is that there was a week less to process orders through printing, collating and distribution. You can't have it both ways. The club is trying to arrange for volunteers to be available on this Sunday to help ease the process. If you have arranged your holiday to coincide with then start of the season, then this is not the club's fault, and technically season tickets are not transferable, although personally I think that this is a bit of a daft rule and not really enforceable.

I paid for my season ticket in June, I should have had it by now. Simple as that.

It's not too much of an ask though is it for an update to be in the local press, social media platforms and on the Club website is it? After all I thought communication was going to be key.

"we're hoping to have them out for Friday - but we will be opening on Sunday. We will have a definitive statement out there on later today" 👍

Completely agree, why are we not using our premier league standard website to update fans on such things as, when you can pick your season ticket up, etc.
There was a CFU meeting last night, I had no idea it was on.
The website should be the first port of call for news and Chester FCTV, updates on that every few days would be welcome.

Seems a bit like a loss/loss situation for the club to be fair. As mentioned, we did get Early Bird extended for the fans. We have a new website that is great, run by volunteers and looks/performs far better. If someone was employed full time and paid, we'd have complaints about that on here. If a statement is being released later today i think it's fair enough given that they are probably tied themselves. Some people seem to want to know every time Maguire goes for a p*ss in all fairness it get's out of hand. Just pick up a phone and ask them.
