Great news. The biggest stadium sponsorship deal we have had. Swansway are back. The article also states the club hope to break through the 1100 mark for season ticket sales soon, and hope to announce more commercial deals in the coming days. Exciting stuff! The pipeline is no more! www.chesterfc.com/2017/07/05/major-new-sponsorship-for-chester-fc/

Good news for us. I wish we could find out more about the figures involved in the deal, but for obvious reasons these will never be public knowledge. Imagine this may result in us signing up Dawson? Unless it was already accounted for in the budgeting and it was just a delayed announcement.

You could always ask dmcnally he seems to be McGuires best mate at mo and seems to know what's going on at the club.

Why wouldn't I... he has transformed the atmosphere around the club without kicking a ball (I know you probably aren't part of the current positivity though). Record sponsorship deal, strong additions, new website and free highlights channel with behind the scenes content to bring us closer to the club, new CFU rebrand too, youth team players being given professional contracts, holding out on the Sam Hughes deal which ultimately proved a superb decision. Wanting to listen and meet with young fans who wish to make an atmosphere at home games and offer as much help with it as possible, an event for fans to meet players and again reward our loyal supporters, all this since the season finished and I've probably missed a few things off that list... we may find out the extent to this deal financially in the club accounts, we may not, but asking through fans@chesterfc.com may give some more information who knows...

I've been a critic of Maguire but you really can't argue with what he's done this summer. Season ticket sales reflect that too.
It's almost been too good to be true, this pre-season for Chester, I'm waiting for the inevitable crash 😂

I don't get all this pick on teenage lads for supporting the club stuff that gets aimed at Danny and Rio. It's all a bit petty and to be fair Dmcnally has proved most people wrong with what was seemingly blind faith in Maguire. I certainly won't deny I had moment where his pipeline was starting to grind on my tits. That said, he's pulled off a decent summer, and I'm sure McCarthy has been working his arse off too to make these targets a reality. So for once, hats off to everyone around the club for their work over the summer. It's down to JMc to show his managerial Ability now by bringing all these decent players together and making it work.

This is more fantastic news for us with Swansway Chester sponsoring the club again. To be honest, I couldn't really stand the stadium being called the 'Lookers Vauxhall Stadium' for some reason, but this is great news with more initiatives set to be announced. I spoke to Mark this afternoon and he has a lot of time to chat about the club and I can't wait to see what else lies in the pipeline.

Embarrassed for some of the try hards on here trying to belittle them for having a little optimism and belief. Keep it up lads.

I think that Maguire has certainly done a great deal for the club and is proving that he's well worth the investment, but the things highlighted are all in some respect other people's achievements at the club. I'm sure that Maguire has helped with all of these things, but we shouldn't forget the great job that McCarthy has done with recruitment, nor the superb efforts of the media lot in sorting the new website. It's a team effort running this club. Well done all!

Simple question how much is this deal worth as a fan owns club I don't see why it isn't announced.

I had “blind faith” because in a business environment things take time to develop, and Maguire can't be knocking out record deals from day one. I'm sure from day one, however, he has been working to secure deals like the one today. As he said himself it will take 18 months to settle into his role, which is around the end of this year. So maybe we have even better things to come 😏

I speak with the head of media, Albert Davies, quite regularly and know just how much effort has gone into the website etc from himself and the rest of the media team. Also well done to Macca on some superb signings. We were on the topic of Mark Maguire so I kept it to do with him, but yes, many others have played in a part in the excellent progress made since April 29th.

Sounds like we are going great guns on the commercial side of things. Here's hoping the future good news you refer to centres around the experience for general fans - strengthening the experience of the family enclosure, perhaps some themed matches as we've had in the past, deals and offers for those on low incomes and so on.

More love for Maguire.“It is being run in an professional way and that is what it needs. I can see some big steps forward and Mark Maguire (Chester chief executive) coming in has made a big difference. The feel this time compared to last time coming in and negotiating a deal and talking about the deal has been a much better experience, no doubt. There is a more positive feel within the club.” www.chesterchronicle.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/new-stadium-sponsor-says-chester-13292283

I think he's had a good summer but i don't want to lick the blokes arse, after all he's being paid a good wage to do that as his job at the end of the day. I think some support of him is a little ridiculous in a sense, it's almost being treated like he's doing us a huge favour, not just getting his actual job done.
Hats off to his work over the summer, but i expect more hard work to come and pushing for bigger and better deals and partnerships.

Its the close season, we seem to be doing ok off the pitch. We only lost players we didn't want, or sold them for what we did want, and have brought in better than we have lost. No Heneghan-esque fiascos, no Bob Grey, no giving away sponsorships and boards because we cant sell them, a website and an online club shop that work and look good... I think we should all enjoy it while it lasts.
