SB is quite right with what he's said. Not sure how Danny has misinterpreted when a deal isn't a deal. Tranmere offered us a deal for Alabi, which we refused. Therefore no deal has been agreed between 2 clubs. as others have stated - we will look to be awarded as much compensation as possible for Alabi, but again this is NOT a deal between the 2 clubs. It's an instruction from a third party tribunal to decide how much compensation is awarded to us following his move. Yes they rejected one, I worded it wrong but there may still be a deal. I thought SB meant no deal as in we are getting nothing for Alabi (like Heneghan). So your promise to draw a line on this commotion lasted a whole hour! I knew you couldn't resist, but it still is not a deal. Stick to what you're good at. You have good knowledge of Chester FC, but not about what constitutes a "deal".

Stop looking for bites from your own fanbase, as I know you're loving this.

Would I be right in thinking then that a deal is a deal in the same way that Brexit means Brexit?

Well Mrs May certainly hasn't secured the ''best Brexit DEAL'' like she said she would.

James Akintunde has the potential to be a better centre forward than Alabi. His style is similar, pressing the last man, quick and direct, but to me his is more mobile and has better spring. Whether he can gain enough minutes for his finishing to be polished remains to be seen, and it is very early days, but I'd be looking at him and Hannah as my starting pair. Akintunde is the player Kane Richards thinks he is. If he stays fit then I think Akintunde could be the star of the show. He has got all the skillset needed to be a prolific striker. He has surprising strength as well. I remember one game last season (Dover I think) when he held the big centre half off and scored. Hopefully we don't see long balls punted up to him and instead the ball is played to his feet. Looking forward to seeing him again. McCarthy has an abundance of quality up front now so no excuses can be made.
