As a coach you'd have to be disappointed with Vassell really.
He looked a really good player early on last season. A sort of young Heneghan type of full back. The problem is he didn't improve at all over the season. If anything he got worse after missing a load of games through injury.
Presumably Walsall thought the same as they got rid, without him ever really playing for them.
We could do with a similar player for cover this season though. Let's hope we find one.
