You say your not bothered by the result but i bet you cant wait to start criticizing. Its like you have a form of tourettes You do court controversy with your comments Roman/Bob. Dont mean to Noddy, but I can second guess some of teh people on this board they make out there resonable and at the first opportunity they attack the club in someway

I think we played well today against a good physical side. We looked good going forward at times in the first half and our passing was a lot sharper. I thought Harry White played well along with Ryan Astles who looked really solid. Also Bell scored a cracker of a goal. Hopefully last seasons mist has disappeared so we can look forward to a successful season. COYB! 🔵⚪️

First half was terrible. We just couldn't keep Hold of the football and kept hoofing it up the pitch to nobody. Second half, though, was decent and we made a real game of it. Playing higher up the pitch and pressing Walsall. The worry for me is that some of the players who we would expect to be starters looked a bit off the pace and Set play, especially in the first half was woeful. There were positives however, whilst I'm critical of the back fours distribution they did look solid and played as a unit. The left back looks alright. The squad players who came on looked good and the young kids didn't look out of place at all. The biggest positive for me was the performance of Harry White, he looks a superb find.

After a look at those highlights it looked as though both Walsall's goals were avoidable.

One player I’ve been quietly impressed by in three games I’ve seen is Liam Davies. Scored two cracking goals and his assist for Bell on Saturday was superb. There’s something there with him, whether we have has position spot on is another matter.

Agreed, I think both Davies and Dawson could be surprise packagestgis season. on Saturday, Ross Hannah was sitting in the stands and he clapped every time a Chester player made a good pass and especially when Bell scored. I have never seen a player do that before, most of them when watching a game are twiddling with their phones - a class act is Ross, both on and off the pitch.

I thought we were totally outclassed and were never in the game first half. A big improvement in the second half though.

I was meant to put 'in the second half we were good going forward, etc...' 👍
