I am not moaning it's great that it's a Friday and I and a few mates are doing the same taking the day off few beers in town and enjoy a good derby game with a good atmosphere . Am just saying I think our police have learned off Merseyside police I have loved the games at tranmere the fan zone thing they have has been excellent, beer is a bit expensive for what it is but it's well run a good atmosphere and no fear of trouble and I do think we should do something similar for certain games to make money. Think your right good idea with the fan zone for certain games, cant see it for this game though, the last people I want to be drinking with on a Friday night is deluded Wrexscum fans.

If you fancy somewhere to kip give me a message . We love our teams but it's a game . Thanks but No thanks, Why would we want to stay in Llangollen??? the steam train, the canal. I don't think so, it's quicker to get a taxi back to Chester.

Proper adventures seem to be with Connah's Quay Nomads these days.

The only thing that needs a bubble is Tiny Keates' leather jacket. Did he steal that from Cher? Thank you Keates for providing the funniest moment of the close season.

The fact that it is not a bubble for the first game which is at our place but still remaining 'all ticket' shouldn't affect Chester fans, nothing has changed for us. It will be Wrexham fans who will be under the spotlight. If any gain access to Chester areas of the Deva and cause trouble then it will be back to being a bubble fixture for the away game. There will still be a huge Police presence, especially at the railway station. I just hope the Sam Hughes money isn't paying for it. If there is any left that is You are deluded if you think the spotlight will only be on Wrexham fans. Most and yes there are a few idiots on both sides ,just want to watch the match and have some banter but the people that organize your ground dont appear to have the common sense to blank off all those seats nearest to where the majority of the Wrexham trouble makers will head for . Every game at your place under the bubble has been poorly managed in my opinion inside the ground but outside was fine but one year your idiots stood outside the ground throwing bricks at our coaches ...nice ! not ! I will be filming any trouble at your ground and how we are treated outside and post it for all to see hopefully good and unfortunately as expected bad.

It's because Wrexham are coming to our City, non bubble restrictions have had the Train Station, Deva Bar or Handbridge pubs destroyed by Wrexham fans so If that was to happen then yeah the eyes will be on Wrexham won't it... There'll be no need to film anything, I'm sure the plod will have plenty of cameras. Just enjoy the match!

All ticket. Friday 7:45 pm. Is this a mistake by the Safety Advisory Group?? It's a dramatic step down from being searched before getting on the coach. Police escort (with helicopter). Ticket on arrival etc Surprising match arrangements even. A Friday night. And it's going to be dark in November The current near 1,200 away allocation is SOLD OUT already. Sensible thing is to give us the whole of the West Stand as well.

I don't think we will have any trouble filling the 3 remaining stands.

I'd give them half the West Stand for us to make as much money out of this game as possible (usually make a loss due to police bills etc). The only reason I wouldn't give them the entire West Stand is because it looks bad when half the ground is away fans but we could do with the cold, hard cash to be fair.

I seem to recall that there are good reasons why we can't allocate the whole West Stand to away fans....I'd prefer a concerted effort to sell more tickets to home fans and neutrals.

We played tranmere on a Friday night last year and it went off with minimal disruption, I think from the papers a coupe from both clubs got arrested, not bad as they have as many lunatics as Wrexham have. My point on this is that I think both cp and nwp have learned a lot over the last 2 years as to how Merseyside police handle potentially high risk fixtures and they now have a better understanding of how to stop potential trouble before it happens yes we will still have the nuggets who want to cause trouble but so long as they employ the tactics they used with the help of Merseyside police for the Tranmere game then I believe we will be ok

The police will have difficulty whichever time or day controlling the fans approaching the Deva.but inside why have dozens of police standing on touchline all together ? Why not put a few pairs of them in full uniform among the crowd of the fans in strategic places on the terracing.this may deter the fans kicking of if they are seen.only a suggestion.

I think you miss the point of the police presence. They don't really want to actually do any policing if they can help it.
