For those of us with an optimistic outlook at this time of year, there are 3 bookies offering odds on us having a Top 7 finish - the best of which seems to be Bet Victor at 5-1 . I'm having some of that.
33-1 for promotion and 66-1 for Champions is stretching belief even for me.....but Top 7, well just possibly. (Yes, you can quote that back to me in a few weeks time!)

5/1 is far too short for my liking.

Should be 50/1 , if we're 3rd favourites to go down how on earth are we just 5/1 for a top 7 finish, I'd want that price for a top half of the table finish

Bookies don't have a clue on the lower leagues which is why odds don't make any sense. Compared to the Prem and Championship teams in our League can finish 19th etc sign a few decent players and next season have a decent season, even get promoted.

Alan Agar has always hated us, at the same I think I would want about 50/1 to finish top 7.
We are way short at the back in terms of quantity and some areas quality to be top 7. Mid table would be over achieving imo.

Alan Agar I mean. He's paid to give an opinion and his opinion is we'll go down - a not entirely unreasonable opinion given that we ended last in freefall and we've since lost our two best players. It's up to us to prove him wrong.
