Ross seemed a bit over hyped with young Nyall last night. I loved Hannahs passion but felt a bit for young Bell as it seemed Ross was asking him to pick up three out of their defenders at any one time.

There was a loose ball that Bell wasn't as quick to chase as he should've been, Hannah was right to have a go.
It's great to see him fired up, he looked good last night.
Have to start with White and Akintunde Saturday, they were outstanding. Brilliant that we're spoilt for choice up front.

I know with our budget we need to be careful but from what I saw from last night I was impressed we Just need cover for the left back positon, I think we may get exploited there. |

If Akintunde stays fit he will be the next player to move on for cash. He's got it and will play at a higher level. Very exciting player and the club should put him on a two year contract to ensure another "Alabi" situation doesn't arise.
He was the best player on the pitch by a mile last night. God knows why he was taken off!

God knows why he was taken off! Echo this. Lucas Dawson also but needs match fitness. We lost some of our energy in midfield when Akintunde went off as when we never had the ball he dropped in. Like him a lot. |

Must admit, I didn't particularly like it - if a player was shouting at me the way Hannah was shouting at Bell last night I'd be pretty pissed off. At one point Hannah played a woeful mis-hit pass in the wrong direction and then was berating Bell pretty aggressively for not getting onto it!

McCombe was hobbling in the first half. That was scary and we've got nothing if one of them gets injured.

JM stated he brought in full backs who could also offer cover in the middle so we are covered.
Left back worries me though, LRT got caught out of position a few times and most of Fyldes threat was down his side.

Agree with this, surprised to see nobodies mentioned Mahons performance, I thought he had a poor game. As you say he offered almost no protection to LRT defensively and got caught in possession a few times. He looked knackered after half an hour and I was weirdly relieved to see Chapell come on for him as he offers more defensive cover than Mahon. It was alarming how many crosses were being sent it the box with relative ease through the game from both sides. |
