Right not read any threads since I got in. Don't know what u all been saying but... right I'm sick of this shite. Macca has had his chance and ok it's only 2 games. Let's take the positives,2 points,2 draws , 1 goal conceded blah blah blah. But come on the football is awful. What taticics are we playing? Ffs it hoof ball. every time our keeper gets the ball , is his instruction to just hoof it up the pitch? Surely once in a while he can roll it out or pass it to a full back. Halls looks cool and composed with any threat but then it's just lump it forward. Fare play to NRT , called him as MOTM, but that's about it. The whole structure of the team is shite, macca not got a clue. There's good players in this team but they are set up with shite instructions. Get rid of that fool and put someone in who knows how to make them tick. These tactics are a) useless and b) painstaking to watch. Fyle looked good and ok a draw on reflection looks good, but Halifax were shite and we done f all about it. There for the taking! Bye macca , just go! Decent squad , shite management. Please don't drag us down!

Considering I posted that last night after a right skinful (which was needed after watching that performance ) , I think I did well to keep the expletives down to a minimum. It could of been a lot worse!

It was truly awful to watch. Apart from the first 45min at home to Fylde on Tuesday night, where we actually got the ball down and played football, we've spent 135minutes trying to lump the ball forward.
It's diabolical. If McCarthy is blaming the wind for our inability to win that then CHANGE YOUR TACTICS TO SUIT. Jesus, you could see the wind was causing problems particularly first half with long balls just flying out of play, so why don't you just keep the ball on the bloody deck and use your two centre mids, and push your full backs up and exploit some width?
It's horrible to watch, it really is

Having watched 2 games this season you can see that the squad(small as it is), is stronger than last season. The players have had only two competitive games to date. If by the end of September the comments are about lack of structure, no pattern to the play, lack of tactics etc then that is the time to think about a change. Let's give the whole squad, including the manager, time to settle in to a routine then look at this objectively.
I am not 100% convinced by M but prepared to give him until end September

Looks like we've started what will soon become "catch up the league" football. Either way it seems McCarthy is hell bent on "bottom of the league" football. Could a genealogist check to see if he is related to the Vaughan family. |

How can you say that after watching ONE game. I'd expect that after a month or so. Solihull have started very poorly as I expected and it could well have been 3 points to kick the season off. That would have raised the mood and probably put us in a better position for Fylde and Halifax. Sigh. |

Is it to make sure we all see your expert analysis of the situation? Sacking the manager after two games (neither of which were lost), wow what an advert for any potential candidates! |
