The Junior Blues are running a competition alongside Swettenham Chemists to allow young Chester fans to design the logo for the Family Zone in the Swettenham Chemists Stand (Family Stand). The winner's image will be used as the official Family Zone logo and will be displayed in the family stand, as well as winning a mascot package. Runners up will also have their images put up in the stand. The competition has been running for almost two weeks now, but there haven't been many entries so if you have youngsters who are Chester fans please sit them down and get them to draw an image of your family wearing Chester shirts attending a Chester game, it's a unique opportunity for your son/daughter/grandchild/niece/nephew to make a lasting mark on the club. When they're done, scan them in and email them to juniorblues@chesterfc.com or drop them off in the club shop on Saturday. The deadline was previously Thursday but we are extending it to Saturday to allow for as many entries as possible, so get those pens out!

I would like to thank Ian Swettenham and Swettenham Chemists for their support with this competition. It's a really unique opportunity for a Junior Blue to have their creation "up in lights", so to speak, and will add real colour and vibrancy to the Family Zone and stand. The most important part was creating a safe area for families to watch games from, and now we will continue to work with our partners and the Community Trust to improve the experience even further. This is just the start. Don't for a parent and child can go into the Family Zone for £18, with each additional child costing £2. Thanks, Alan

Do we have to get a ticket from the ticket office first? I ask because last time I took my kid I went straight to turnstile as I'd previously done to take up the offer but this time fella told me I needed a ticket and that had always been the way, he let us in anyway without a ticket.

Hi Joey, Yes, the tickets should be paid for and picked up at the ticket office. This is so we can monitor the uptake on them. Thanks, Alan

Is that in total, or is that just me and my sister?
