Just to let fellow Deva Chatters know that the away game at Southport is on SATURDAY 25th February (15:00) Kick-off instead of TUESDAY 28th February. Thankfully I will be making my second visit there this season and won't want a reverse of the FA Cup match. Looking forward to it.

Great idea by both clubs, Saturday will be much better than Tuesday night. We will take 600 - 700 fans and give a better account of ourselves than we did in the FA cup. They are in melt down at the moment and have D&RFC and woking before we take them a part.

Can see us thrashing them, Higgins will have a torrid time.

The Mersey rail line is closed Birkenhead to Liverpool its all replacement buses. Pain in the arse. May put a few off going.

Other alternative is Chester to Crewe to Manchester Victoria to Meols Cop... Probably easier taking the replacement bus, however from what i've heard, they aren't that bad.

I have been on the replacement bus a couple of times over the last few weekends, it's just as quick as normal to get into Liverpool. The buses are parked up at the station waiting to go normally, if you don't catch that one the next comes within 5 minutes, all pretty well organised.
