There's two negatives to only having one fit and available senior striker now. Obviously the first is that we only have one for striker but I think the current situation is going to provide McCarthy with more time to hand three points over to visting teams before he's sacked. I can see his post match interview now when we've just been rolled over again bleating about how his hands are tied. I hope the board see through it and bin him before all the strikers are back fit.

McCarthy employs a 10-0-0 formation anyway, so the striker situation doesn't make much difference.

Problem is, we've looked better with the extra man in midfield so far. It might actually help JMc. He can play 4 5 1 and blame it on the lack of strikers. Avoiding the grief.

Is our striker coach on the books as a player, come on big Chris, get your boots on!! That would mean he would have to turn up on a Saturday, not often you get "En-route to The Deva Stadium" from him!
