I ran this poll back in May (here) and it was 30% in favour 70% against.
As time has passed and people are now coming to my viewpoint, I will re-run it.
Same rules as last time...

Suggested wording of "McCarthy Out" to be flown before Macc home game unless we pick up 3 points on Sat.

No. It won't achieve anything. This is basically a protest which a fan-owned club doesn't need. Also, the board won't take any action just yet anyway.

Sounds a very 'London' Premier League supporter thing to do. It was inspired by the 'Wenger Out' stuff, but what is really apart from a bed sheet in the sky? I have had one message as well, the text is changeable and that was just a suggestion, obviously you cannot have full sentences otherwise the plane will go too slow and we dont want a 9/11 on our hands. |

Just to be clear I do not think 9/11 was caused by slow planes and that was a silly comment, I meant that if you have a slow plane then that is bad news in aeronautical terms.
(I have my theories on what did cause it but this is not the thread for that, but if you are interested google 'jet fuel' and 'steel beams', there is a wealth of detail out there from lots of experts. Watch out for kids on youtube though as they are trying to pollute the debate.)

As others have stated, unfortunately it doesn't seem like it's going to work out for JMc and there will be an inevitable parting of the ways, but the guy is clearly very hard-working and wants our club to succeed as we all do. It would show us in a very bad light if something like this were to happen and could damage our reputation enormously.

No, we are better than that. McCarthy is a dead man walking and it's just a matter of time before the Board sack him. Let's not forget that when all is said and done, the Board is comprised of the most passionate supporters and they will want to get rid of McCarthy as much as most of us do. It's just a question of timing and finances.

£700 why not offer our depleting strike force a cash bonus for top scorer come end of season.better than biggles pulling a length of loo role behind him that will missed by all. Support your team when it's needed most. The "manager"!! Will be gone sooner rather than later. It's our players who need the support in times like this they will still be there when he is long gone.COYB

If this thread wasn't so tragic it would be hilarious. Someone has actually investigated the cost of actually doing this, sorry but you really have got too much time on your hands, unless of course you own a plane in which case it is probably a good business idea.
