Having watched the highlights of the Manchester City versus Swansea match I was slightly surprised that the attention was focused on City's winner,City's free kick taken yards from where the offence took place(the "foul" looked contentious)with the ball moving.Surely City's first goal started with a blatant foul throw. I have no axe to grind with City but foul throws have been a massive bone of contention with me ( maybe it's my age) but over the last few seasons I have noticed throw ins being taken not only yards up the pitch from where the ball went out but yards further back when it's suits the team taking the throw especially when they are using the keeper. The rule is that throw ins are taken where the ball goes out.Surely,as the rule is easy to enforce,it would be a easy way for referees to show all the players that ALL the rules will be implemented, any don't get me started on pinching yards and the total refusal for linesmen (sorry, assistant referees) to get involved in enforcing the "rules of the game" Going into a darkened room now for a lie down, rant over.

Being of a certain age I tend to agree. Plus foul throws are plentiful with player's foot or feet over the touchline, and thrown incorrectly.
I too am now off for a lie down in a dark room.

Wow, this happens a lot here , right by me (on the touch line) and the linos do nothing about it.

Happens all the time, see it all the time at our place. Foul throw, player walking further up field.
Much like the pushing, shoving and blatant fouling in the box at set pieces unless the referee gets it under control nothing will change.
