And it starts. Love the loyalty of our fans.
As predicted (read my threads) witch hunt has already started for the manager. The only surprise is its only taken four games. I love the fans who say they are going to reserve judgement then at the first opportunity attack. Get a grip people! How long before the first post comes up about boycotting the club until real change happens we've already had people suggest hiring planes. It's clear many of you took great delight when JM reacted the way he did. It must bring some comfort to your dull lives that you now have something to believe in. Maybe if JM goes we will get more that 1600 fans haha. Let's go the whole hog and get graham barrow in with Clare upfront.
Let's get it right, it's four games not the end of the world, sorry meant season.

Have you been drinking ? perhaps if JM had half a clue we would have never reached this situation, lets not forget the fact we haven't had a home win since December. Lets forget the break from last season how may other clubs would continue to employ a manager with no home wins in 18 games ? you tell me ? do I feel shame dam right I don't.

Lets not forget early on never was so much money invested in this club Lowe, Ellison, Claire, Stamp, Sugdan, Ravenhill etc.
So yes when I feel fans moan for moaning sake I will defend the club. Do you not get sick of it eyeswideopen? When we had nothing to moan about on the pitch we has screams in the stands about the pies only having pastry on top. Many fans are always looking to moan. They should get real. You must admit some are revelling in this, even if he got us mid table, they still wont get behind him.

I get it, but there have been many changes at the club lets at least give him till Christmas before jumping on the #OUT bandwagon. Only four weeks ago people were talking about giving him a chance see what the new season brings etc. Well it is a new season and I will judge him on that.

You get what you pay for and I'm sure we will be fine this year. Everyone is finding there feet look at the start of Hartlepool and Torquay. Keep the faith.
Also Chester have never been well supported even if we get a new manager the crowds won't surge up, agreed 1600 is poor but I would put that down to the price.

A Hartlepool side that we were defending a siege against? Price isn't the cause of losing 500 fans in two weeks either.

Whilst I'm not particularly supportive of the 'Sack him now' brigade, I have to take umbridge with the above. This was not investment, it was all as directors loans. All then written off when the 'company' went bust, clean money. Have to admit though, the Ravenhill line give me a giggle

For every player brought in, I give you a hundred families torn to bits by the filth peddled as currency to finance those deals.
We now have to work hard for success, that includes players, the staff, the supporters and mostly the volunteers and board. These people cant please all the people all of the time, that's a given. They might moan at the tactics, the admission prices, the weather or even if a pie should have a crust on it or not.
And that's their right to do that, what they also have is a board who are not stupid and will know the discontent amongst supporters, this board will listen, and respond when appropriate they will also act when required.
We have never had that before, and we also have full knowledge that the lifeblood of this club will never be sucked out of it again for someone's personal gain.

I get it. We haven't won at home in a long time, and this is a serious issue. Performances on the road aren't much better either. However, I am a firm believer in a positive mind frame, our situation could ALWAYS be worse, that is factual. The tactics JM is employing is obviously not to everyone's liking, and quite rightly so as we have all witnessed defensive dross. He isn't stupid, he can hear from the stands, read on forums and have a general feel of a place / atmosphere. But jumping on his back, when the board are clearly supporting him, for now, is absolutely bonkers. What good...what positive outcome are WE as a club going to achieve by being negative and jumping on his back and indirectly forcing him out? IN MY OPINION, he should be given 10 games, this season, and I firmly believe results will have picked up by then. If not, then yes I agree, replacements are required. But being negative about an existing problem isn't going to help in any way, shape or form when the powers that be (board) are supporting him and standing by his efforts, as I am, for now.

I can't decide whether you're just a bit of an annoying troll, or whether you're quite a manipulative individual. You always come on here with these very caustic opinions that seem designed to get under people's skin, worded carefully so they're as accusative and patronising as possible without being a direct insult. Then, the second somebody replies telling you to do one, you can tell you're delighted to have an excuse to respond with an offensive insult. It's like you're trying to destroy something, or break spirits. It's not really a great way for an adult to behave, is it?

Whether or not they believe what they're speaking up for is a different matter, ultimately someone around here enjoys being in the minority, and complaining the whole world is against them. Attention seeking.

Your right and its naïve to say price is the only factor, but Chester fans have always been like that its just the way it is. As stated on this board I am sure the CFC board are looking at this and putting measures in place to improve the overall experience.

Great post. The board will also have the full financial facts, not the speculation we see here. They will know the exact cost that diminishing gates will have on our finances, and will also know exactly what it will cost the club to terminate any contracts they are currently bound to. This will enable them to make a balanced decision with the best interests of the club and its supporters at its heart. Yesterdays website statement (although not issued by the board, I would be fairly sure it will have been ratified by them) reads to me like the club telling the supporters that they know better football is required, and states that the second half of the Sutton game was what they are looking for. I am also fairly sure that JMc will have been made aware of this. An itchy trigger finger, whilst understandable, is not always the best way. Can't go Saturday, but will be there Monday hoping that the players and management can start to turn this around.

A difference in opinion is always welcome, but your posts just come across as attacks, and you don't appear to have learned anything from how ridiculous you made yourself look seven or eight years ago. You call your post 'shame on you!!!' and you question people's loyalty. This isn't a difference in opinion, this is a condescending lecture. How does wanting a change of manager make you a disloyal fan? We're CFC fans, not Jon McCarthy fans. I, and several others, believe it's in the club's best interests to appoint a new manager, sad as it would be to see a decent man like Macca lose his job. You say the minute anyone sticks up for McCarthy they get attacked. Well, for a start, try actually sticking up for him then! I've not seen a single point from you actually praising or defending the manager, just lots of belittling of other supporters. I don't think I'd want you fighting my corner!

What I find ridiculous is our supporters club, at the time, rasing money for anything other than CCFC, only allowing people in who agreed with them, going to watch Bounmouth play when Chester were at home, (before the boycott). I could list much more, but thats ridiculous. On a separate issue (seems as though SV is always thrown at me) check the average or even highest attendances since we have been in the conference against the SV tenure. I bet there won't be much in it, if anything I would say the SV era is probably higher. Were poorly supported, but i'm sure when JM leaves the attendances will go through the roof. Don't worry if they don't go up, I am sure there will be some desperados on here who 'if they were in charge would do things completely differently'.

We're lucky to have a football club to support these days. Attendances and all this comparison is totally irrelevant....
