Wasn't he Torquay manager just before he went to Barrow and lasted about a fortnight, when he realised that the potential (now there) new owners were a bunch of asset strippers. |

After watching how he set his team up against us last season I'd rather stick with McCarthy. We might be boring and negative but at least we aren't cheats.

Went to a few barrow games last season as well as Chester and I guarantee you his tactics were spot on usually, yes the game against us was poor but the game at holler street was superb to watch from a neutral although lost 3-2 that night. Paul Cox is a genuinely nice guy who tries to win every game he goes into, also has a lot of time for the academy too I know coz my lad plays for them.

Things aren't right at Barrow, something stinks.
Cox has done a job everywhere he has been at with Mansfield, Torquay, etc.
I would have him here no problem but I fear other clubs are on to him already.

I don't get this Cox love-in. He only works with masses of money a la Mansfield and Barrow. He didn't stay 5 minutes at Torquay when he realised that they were skint.
