I'd definately get Alex Lynch back between the sticks today. Not convinced by Connor Mitchell.

I agree. I know that Mitchell needs to play so many games but I think Lynch looks sharper and should start today.

Lynch definitely needs to be brought back in today.

I'm not sure yet having only seen Mitchell once. I think you need to give keepers a few more games unless they are making alarming errors to concede goals which I don't think Mitchell is. I'm also not convinced that Lynch is good enough as well to be fair.

Mitchell's not impressed me at, shite at dealing with crosses (as is Lynch). Half decent shot stopper (as is Lynch). Distribution is hit and miss (as is Lynch's). So to conclude I don't think he's any better or worse than Lynch so why not give game time to one of our own?

In my opinion, goalkeeper is not like any other position and it's better to pick one and stick with him unless his form really drops.
I like Lynch personally, he's made the odd mistake but he's nowhere near the age keepers tend to peak at, and he's ours. No disrespect to Mitchell, but I don't think he's what we need at the moment really. It's debatable whether a squad this small should have more than one keeper at all, but if it does I think it should be someone experienced who can work with Lynch and go in goal in an emergency. I don't see a lot of point in just bringing in another young keeper on loan.
We haven't really had a settled goalkeeper since Worsnop was at his best a few seasons ago, which is probably a symptom or partial cause of our recent struggles.

Seems like Lynch is carrying a bit of extra weight to me, perhaps that's why he's been replaced?
I'd stick with Mitchell, young GKs need a run of games.

stick with mitchell for todays game, shocking how he got beat at his nearpost for sutton's second last week but at the end of the day, barry butler was a better keeper than lynch

Can someone tell me why Lynch has been dropped. He hasn't started all season so far.

I think it be worth giving the lad a chance, I remember last season he was involved in the mad clean sheet run, not to mention he points he saved us.

Where's Jon Hill-Dunt these days? Denbigh Town FC. Funny enough they conceded 7 at Caernarfon today with a certain Chris Williams scoring.

Mitchell was excellent today. Very commanding and a couple of great saves. Yeah, I thought Mitchell was good today as well. Beforehand I’d have been pleased to see Lynch’s name back on the team sheet as I like him and I’ve not been too impressed with Mitchell so far. He’s always looked very static and rooted to his line but in fairness he was fearless and flying out for fun today, got a hand to everything thrown at him.

I thought Mitchell was poor first half. Hesitated on a number of occasions when he should have come out quickly and imposed himself. Did exactly that second half and caught several crosses
