just watched highlights on you tube we looked lucky first half but dug in and came good second half
the passion shown at the end of the game from players/management to the travelling fans shows that they care
tom shaws reaction at the end of the game you would have thought we had won the league(that comes in May LOL )
i know i am not alone in thinking that TS should be involved in the match day squad he is too young and talented not to be at least on the bench
especially as we have a player shortage at the moment
lets hope for three points today before 2 tough away games COYB

The problem is that one of the main points raised during 'Iwelumo-gate' last season was that Macca looked a bit lost in the dugout without an assistant, so this risks being an extension of the same problem. I'm not convinced moving Shaw out of the lineup and into the coaching team was the right move myself, but time will tell. |

One of them where the ref probably decided the defender didn't deserve the benefit of the doubt. What a goal that would've been from Chapell just before we got the second. Such a shame that he is so often ineffective as there's certainly a player there. Always entertaining when the goalkeeper comes up for a corner, and he made contact with it too! I love the sense of panic it creates in both teams whenever that happens. |

To me from the highlight it looked a soft pen, I watched it twice, shame Chappell didn't score with that.
Loved the keeper going up, one of their fans was shouting get back, why bother? You're 2-1 down, go for it.

at least if shaw is on the bench if management decide to bring him on because a change of tactics is needed he will know the plan and if further adjustment is required once he is playing he can decide whilst on the pitch
with our small squad we have to have a balance cant expect youth team players to fill the void completely
