Who is to blame for the fact we've put all our eggs in one basket and don't have funds available to even sign a player on loan?

Keepers; Mitchell and Lynch. That's two
Defenders; Halls, McCombe, Astles, LRT, Joyce (cover), James (cover), Turnbull (cover). Even Dawson often played CB in Stoke academy.
Wingers; Mahon, Chappell, Davies, Waters, Brown. Also Dawson who has recently operated on the right side. That's five/six.

If we are relying upon Chappel, Joyce and Davies as back up we are a bit stuffed. The new manager needs to move them on. Evo Stik standard players I'm afraid.

Don't see much point moaning about it really. You could question some of the players brought in and retained, and four defenders is totally inadequate, but the budget is what it is.
