See you there RIO I shall be making the trip on Saturday. Are the squad staying overnight do we know? Yes it is a good day out and I also quite like their ground. With the situation they are in perhaps this maybe our last visit for a while?

Torquay have an injury crisis of their own, with 6-7 players out on saturday. They could be appointing their new manager just before the game however, which would give them a bit of momentum (like it did with Gary Mills for York away)

Arrived here an hour ago. In same B & B that Chappell uses. Reason I got here so late was because I stopped at Birmingham for a cup of tea and when I got back in car my key broke in ignition. I had to go and buy some pliers from Pound Shop and when sorted drive all the way home in very heavy traffic for spare. 450 miles today. I'll be happy if the players put as much effort in on Saturday. Off to bed now. I'm too old for all this.

Yes, with games like Eastleigh 0-3, Torquay 0-1 and Aldershot 1-2, I am hopeful of another win. Woking and Maidstone did redress the balance of seeing wins away over the past year, but hoping to see at least my third victory on the trot, all away of course.

I never even considered that a new spare key is going to cost over 200 quid. If we win tomorrow I'll not complain.

If Chappell is staying at the same B&B can you put something in his cornflakes in the morning? At least a laxative would keep him moving around for 90 minutes! Either that or chain him to something so he can't get to the ground. ps - If he scores the winner I will post an apology. Fairly safe there then!

Can't make it today, but went last season and know the area quite well.
For those Blues who have time, I recommend a visit to the Cary Arms in Babbacombe, which is set on the side of the cliffs overlooking the bay. On a nice day the view is absolutely sensational, and you have a fair chance of seeing Sammy the Seal (which might be a good omen), who comes to pinch the fish off the fishermen sometimes.
Exit the Buccaneer pub with the sea in front of you, turn right, walk to the theatre, and then go down the (very steep) hill towards the beach, and the Cary Arms is about 400 yards or so. I'm envious of any of you that might make it.

Probably better value than somewhere similar actually in Torquay . . . or perhaps the five-star gaffe in Torquay was fully booked up

Just we have branded about recently as to how we are doing things on the cheap, this sums it up! What you want us to go all out on a 5 star hotel? How are we meant to afford to sack Macca doing things like that? Maguire got us a special deal with a 'hotel company' a few months ago to get reduced rates when we need to stay over. That'll be Holiday Inn.

That'll be Holiday Inn. Of course not. Just the way it was worded made me giggle a little bit. For all of the crap served by the club at the minute at least let me have this little bit of humour! Could have been a Travelodge I guess, so it's not all bad. Personally, I'd have had a Premier Inn. That word 'Premier' just oozes class doesn't it?

I would make McCarthy walk home if the score doesn't change for the better.
