[br Got the score wrong , never mind thats only 11 goals against you in 2 games . What happened to the enthusiasm you all had for the dinamic duo ? Nothong sad about me i am rather happy with our club on the up and top of the league while you appear to be sinking faster than the Titanic . There is something very sad about you. The levels of schadenfraude that come from you and the other Wrexham muppets on here and Twitter when things go spectacularly wrong for us is pretty spectacular. The sad fact for you lot is the fact that you can only laugh at our misfortune and not celebrate your club’s success because like us, you’ve been crap for years. I’ll laugh my head off when you lot cock it up again. If everything was going well for us you wouldn't see Corner Flag or any of the other Spice Boys on here. They are just taking the piss so FFS let's ignore them every time they post and they will soon get bored when they don't get a reaction.

I doubt if an insurance company would pay out for loss of business when the postponed game is to be rearranged. They only pay out for proven losses. In this case, a club could claim that the missed home games would have been sold out. This is not a proven loss, bearing in mind a large proportion of the fans are season ticket holders and the Club has had their money.

Admit I am not an insurance expert but surely the club could give a good case of loss of potential travelling fans when a fixture is moved from a Saturday afternoon or Bank Holiday Monday to an evening fixture? Not just ticket revenue, catering etc.

What does building insurance for a commercial premises cover?

Such insurance rarely covers loss of income unless fixed and/or guaranteed.

Such insurance rarely covers loss of income unless fixed and/or guaranteed. Many businesses insure for loss of profits or anticipated revenue following, amongst other things, damage to premises that generate the profit or revenue. Indeed such cover is often included in a "business combined" insurance. In this case the matches will be played at some point in the future so that the consequential losses will be an assessment of the difference between the revenue that would have been earned had the games been played on the scheduled dates and the reduced gate money and other matchday revenue consequent upon the postponements. Clearly this will be a matter for negotiation as there is no way of knowing what the exact matchday revenue would have been had the games gone ahead as scheduled. If there are any costs incurred, particularly for Kidderminster game that will have to spent again when the match is re-arranged such as programme printing, and if the costs of staging the games on new dates causes an increase of the matchday costs that would otherwise have been incurred, these too should taken up with the insurers.

Thanks Arthur for clarifying.I seem to recall an insurance company/broker locally called Arthur Morris that used to advertise in our programmes. Am I correct ?

I think you are thinking of Arthur Edwards Insurance Brokers who had offices in Grosvenor Street. I did work in insurance, initially in Chester until 1978. After that I worked in East Anglia and London.

Unfortunately our Youth team’s match scheduled for Wednesday has been moved to Sandbach, but everything remains on course for our ground to be ready for the Saturday. Another update: t.co/Pgqsr6Xy7a?amp=1

If the Bradford PA match (8th Sept) isn't played at the Swansway Deva Stadium, where will it be held at ? Any ideas ?

Any idea Danny when the call has to be made? I'd imagine we'd have to let them know by the start of play on Monday.

Surely only once all the work is completed tested and commed off can a safety certificate be applied for and that would most probably take a couple of days at least so unless the work is finished Monday or Tuesday at the latest next Saturday doesn't look great

So is the game being played in Bradford?
I'm in Glasgow and was coming home next Friday, but if the game is in Bradford I can stay here and make my way to Bradford on the Saturday.

I would have thought that NWAS would have more idea of what's going on. He's suggested a fixture switch to Bradford, if required.
Nantwich, Witton, Vauxhall Motors and Airbus are all at home next Saturday. Doesn't really seem to be much choice other than to play at home or Bradford to me.
