I hope the signing of Johnston doesn’t mean that we are losing Brad Jackson. Doubt it More likely elliott or elton

I hope the signing of Johnston doesn’t mean that we are losing Brad Jackson. Even if he doesn’t leave in this transfer window, the fact that he has not yet signed a new contract (& surely the board will have offered him one) Brad will be on his way in the summer, so they maybe signing a replacement before the inevitable. Early in the season when Asante was out, Jackson either scored or set up most of the goals we scored and with his pace he looks to be playing at least 2 divisions below his level (imho)

I hope the signing of Johnston doesn’t mean that we are losing Brad Jackson. That’s actually a good shout, it would make sense as to where we’d get the money to be able to steal one of Alty’s best players. They’re absolutely fuming.

If a decent offer has come in for Brad, then whilst it would be a blow to lose him, it might make sound business sense. Signing Johnston as a replacement makes sense too. Surprised Alti have sanctioned this.

Surprised Alti have sanctioned this. Jackson is quality. His close control is exceptional. He will only get better. Hope we can keep him until the end of the season. Along with Asante and possibly Taylor could play at a higher level. Good move for Mahon...hope it works out for him at Alty.

How do you know it's his arm? Who signs a contract with their foot? You read it wrong! How did you know it was HIS arm? Rather than mine, for example, or Liam Davies'? It seemed a strangely confident arm identification and has convinced everyone it's a done deal.

Be a game changer if this came off. Probably Alty’s second best player behind Jordan Hulme. I’d be surprised if they sold, although Mahon is a very similar player so a cash plus player deal could be realistic.

Jordan Hulme following Johnston up the M56 If he is coming here I would say coming 'down' the M56😂😂. Surely you are winding us up?

Jordan Hulme following Johnston up the M56 Can’t see much truth in that one. He’s on decent money at Alty.

Jordan Hulme following Johnston up the M56 Saw this as a rumour on Twitter but there’s been a few things since that have made me think this might just be happening. If we sign Hulme as well then I don’t think there’s a better side in this division than us.

Have I got it wrong or does Hulme work with Bern?

Some of the signings they have made haven't quite worked out, Elliott, Hughes, Ngtawala to name but 3. Hopefully this next one does. Hughes hasn't worked out give your head a wobble his work rate is excellent the other two I agree with Far too inconsistent, doesn't effect games, doesn't score goals. He might run around working hard all day, but to what end?

We aren't good, we lose. The league table doesn't lie.

He might run around working hard all day, but to what end? He's scored 4 (joint 3rd goalscorer) and has 9 assists (2nd most Assists) given his limited game time and his work rate off the ball and pressing I think that's not too bad. Just hasn't really had a good run of form to keep him in the team. IMHO he still has plenty to offer.
