Interesting choice on how to cover for the loss of Livesey. Agree with sqzl, Jones was unconvincing (being polite) pre season. Maybe he's settled and trained well recently. Bern and Jonno will know. Haven't seen Guiseley this season, but it was land of the giants at their place last season. That might influence selection. Especially with Griffiths reluctant to leave his line. Corners and free kicks could be a real problem. Likely tough game. We've a few out, which could disrupt the balance. Glendon spent a lot of the first half Monday chasing upfield to pressure Curzon in their own half. Often ahead of Hughes. Leaving Burton and Dudley to cover 40 yards. He didn't do it second half. Presumably he was told not to. Hope he stays in position more today, and lets Jackson and Dudley push on. I'll go 1-1. Asante. 1650. Personally I’d have Kev R with Grand and then bring Morgan in and give him a go. That way the experience in the spine in maintained to some extent. Guiseley have Aaron Martin, a superb find from the lower leagues who’s fired 10 in 9 games in the league. He’s a impulsive striker who will shoot from anywhere and any angle so Griffiths will be aware of him taking shots early you’d expect. Based on the second half at Curzon, I’d drop Dudley today, he didn’t really look like he knew where he was playing and fed a terrible pass across the pitch that meant Burton got a yellow to stop a counter attack. I’m a fan of his, just not in the left side position. Hughes/Asante Williams(opportunity)/Glendon/Burton/Jackson Taylor(superb player)/KevR/Grand/Morgan Griffiths Williams?

Any chance of a ref from Blacon, Lache or Handbridge to even out last week’s farce? Even one from as far out as Tarvin will do... Let’s get Titch down here.

Who is the ref who does local games and turns up on his scooter walks around the pitch chatting to players as the game is on, never outside center circle...

Kevin Roberts off injured, Jamie Morgan has replaced him. Looks like a Hamstring injury.

Been doing that all season calling Danny Elliott, Danny Williams! Don’t even have age as an excuse, not 30 yet! Fantastic performance this, Glendon and Burton would keep GR and GS out the side playing like this! Can’t believe I’m saying that!

In my hotel room in hot and steamy Bangkok. Brilliant news from back home. Keep it up lads!
M.B. As it stands we have the best goal difference in the league, that's a refreshing change.

Absolutely battering them. Could be 4 or 5 quite easily.

Typical Bignot side, absolutely clattering into our players. A few booked in quick succession.

3-1, Arron Martin. That's something like 11 in 10 for him.. Will be tough for Guiseley to keep hold of him.

3-1 gift from Griffiths as his third mistake today results in a goal. Can’t defend that he looks so shaky from set pieces.

Quick comments before England game which is available in the Blues Bar in case you didn’t know.
By far the better side, Burtons best game for us and Glendon is a great player. Jackson a huge threat and Asante just scores goals doesn’t he? I think that’s 16 in 17 games from him which is what we needif we’re going to go up.
Morgan and Jones showed themselves to be ready for the challenge and we have good competition from the bench. Only question mark for me is Griffiths, I don’t expect a perfect keeper at this level, but he’s very suspect from set pieces and doesn’t command his box well at all. I can see a mistake costing us in a tight game at some point unless he improves. Hats off to the lads today though, absolute quality.

Dependent on one player, shamelessly dirty and completely crap. Not much else to say about Guiseley.

Its home attendances like 1989+ that will give us half a chance of creating a short contract for Georgie Boy in midfield if we/he wants to be included on this ride.
