He’s an Aussie, not from New Zealand 😉 Last Australian to play for us? Guyett?

Aye wasn’t Brownlie also here around about the same time as New Zealand’s Leo Bertos?

Jon Brady as well of course, sure he was in the same team as Guyett as it goes.

Tom Peers signs on an 18th month contract, thoughts Surprised he came back to be fair but proven goalscorer at this level and is someone to help Caton out up top. So a good addition

Very pleased with Peers’ return and obviously he’s someone who the manager knows well. Proven at this level and somewhat in the league above.

Can’t see Peers coming back here - think there’s no love lost between him and our fans. He’s carved a decent career for himself since leaving us at Alty and Curzon. Think the lad Hall at Chorley would be a great replacement should Kurt move on, I’ve been saying it all season. The Poster Formerly Known As Mancot Blue How wrong we can be

Decent option to have. He's a big favourite of the manager though, so I'd be worried that he looks to rip the side up just to shoehorn him in, like he has Sparrow.
I didn't realise how many goals he scored last season for Curzon to be fair. Definitely a late bloomer.

Good option when playing 2 up top which surely we must do at home now, even if Caton plays more right side of the two. Peers has a bit of height and pace so must play central. Could be a good signing for me.

Very good signing on paper. Always a handful and knows where the goal is.
Looking forward to seeing where he fits in. Him & Caton could be a force in this division.

Class signing. Always looked like he had something in his first spell but tough for him to make the step up and be a focal point at that age. Gone on to carve out a really solid career since, played a big part at Alty in the conference the last few years and banged them in at Curzon.
Never really understood the abuse he got form our fans, same as with Crawford at Hartlepool last weekend. With players like John Rooney fair enough, otherwise I don’t get why every ex player is painted at some sort of Judas.
Anyway, welcome back Tom. Him and Caton up top in a 352 could be some prospect

WTF was Crawford getting abuse for? Left us just as we got relegated into the NLNorth to sign for a massive League Two club at the time.
Some are our supporters are right morons.

I didn't hear anything but if anyone did give him abuse they're cocks. I've got nothing but respect for Tom, my kids thought he was brilliant when doing the mini kickers sessions at Northgate.

Fair enough. Good lad Tom Crawford, remenber him stacking shelves in B&M on the Greyhound whilst playing for the academy - made up he’s carved a decent career so far.

Probably got back to Chester before us last week, seen him in the Bouverie on a Sunday plenty of times. He'll no doubt play for us again.
