Ok simples get your arse down the Deva on Saturday, cheer shout and sing your bloody hearts out, we got 3 points to put on the board for the boys, buy your 50/50 ticket buy a programme even if you don't normally, even have a meat and potato pie! Sing til your walk away and feel you carnt speak anymore. Buy a pint in the club house, let's bloody enjoy ourselves, bring a mate if you have too, coz I'll tell you something, the shackles of the last 9 months are about to be released, be the man that makes us the twelfth on the field, and let's roar the boys on to victory! Let's show everyone what a proper fans owned club we are really about, what way to show any potential manager that we are a club with potential than try our bloody hardest to get 3000 through the gate. If you don't think so don't attend, anything is possible if you put your mind to it. comon blues.

Nice, encouraging post but I can't see the crowd being anywhere near 3,000.

Can only hope people turn out Saturday, not moaning or being negative but I would be pleasantly surprised if the attendance was 1800 plus.

To be fair, we will do well to creep over 1,800. It's not wrong.

It wouldn't suprise me if we won on Saturday, always seems to happen when a club gets rid of the manager

It wouldn't suprise me if we won on Saturday, always seems to happen when a club gets rid of the manager Ebbsfleet look very hard to beat & we haven't won since December at home. Plus we've just sacked the manager so this should be a nailed on defeat. That said I can't go Saturday so we'll probably pump them 4-0.

Alot of people have had enough, I was in a bar in Chester this afternoon and you could watch everton v spurs live and arsenal v Bournemouth live and to be honest there probably wasn't much less punters in the bar than there was on the Harry Mac

The crowd was disappointing at short of 1600. We do obviously need those 500 or so back. It will happen as things improve. The JM reign has clearly left its mark. Despite the low gate I couldn't see/feel or hear any negativity around the ground today which I thought was pleasing.

The crowd was disappointing today but it was expected really.
We’ve been playing crap (really crap), in the bottom four, pissed down all morning, City v Liverpool on tv directly before and Utd on straight afterwards. The hardcore were in attendance but anyone even slightly fair weather wouldn’t have been.

Fair points Anders. I mentioned in my comments on today's match thread that despite the much more encouraging performance it's a shame we now have two tough away trips. It's going to be difficult to build on today in those games. I'm sure fans will come back as things improve on the field.

Thought the attitude was right today for the most part. The players obviously wanting to show they cared to the fans which is important. I'm not sure the front 3 worked and we did look better when Hannah went off, which sounds harsh but it's true. I think Bell is a first choice striker now with Aki and Hannah battling It out for the second spot. Interesting when white comes back.
Mahon showed his ability, he's actually superb on his day we just need that for 90 minutes. I would have taken a point today, were desperate for a win to take us out the bottom 4. Two points adrift isn't much to make up but we don't want to find ourselves cut any more adrift before the new manager arrives. I don't see how Joyce makes this side in honesty. It sounds harsh but it's not good enough at this level, no better than Ashley Williams was IMO. Conference North.
Turnbull has potential to be the best player on the field in most matches if we play the right way, superb player at this level.

I thought Joyce had one of his better games to be fair, offered nothing going forwards but did get in there with some crucial tackles. I think he’s Evo-Stik level generally though and Dawson is the logical choice ahead of him if playing that system. Elsewhere I assume Halls will redeploy to right back when Astles is fit again but I think he looks much more comfortable at centre back myself, he’s had two good games there this week. Some Macc fans on another forum were saying he’s a personal trainer away from football and as such he’s bulked up and lost some pace. Thought he was our standout today, can see him in this position permanently in time.

Sqzl you make some very good points from the game. Agreed we don't want to be ideally any further adrift than a 2/3 points. We certainly don't want to be two wins adrift. I thought Bell and Akintunde worked very hard. If possible I think Akintunde should play as he is currently the only player we have with any real pace. Regarding Hannah hopefully he will improve with match fitness. Whilst it wasn't marvellous it was considerably better than Tuesday night. I feel it will get better as players confidence returns. There were plenty of positives to take I thought. Agreed on Mahon he certainly made a difference when he came on. I like to see him playing almost on the touch line as he is certainly more effective when he has the option of running down the line or cutting inside. As I recall he played a big part in our goal today?
