Still out here in the Far East so I'm intrigued as to what the general atmosphere will be like around the ground before, during and after the game. Perhaps you lovely people who provide such great summaries could stick in a sentence or two to keep me up to date.
As for the game, I think any point (or three) would be decent enough providing we see the upturn in performance we're all seeking.
Going for 2-2 and a good watch!

Ebbsfleet haven't been defeated for 30 + games and we haven't won at home for 9 months, having just sacked our manager. Football being the game that it is means that it wouldn't surprise me if we won this afternoon.

If Mitchell is available I hope he plays. Have big concerns about how easily Lynch is beaten from edge of box and also very poor on crosses.

Just heard a sound bite on Dee from Shaw saying he wants to shake things up - I wonder if a start for one of the young lads is in order? Waters? Jones? perhaps - Shaw's got nothing to lose at the end of the day in trying something different

I think Shaw needs to shake things up as what has been tried so far hasn't worked. I'd go with some youth in today's game and be nice to see Waters and Jones get a game. Waters should be starting ahead of Sheron and Chappel any day of the week. Must be demoralising for him seeing some of the shite out on the pitch whilst he warms the bench week in week out. |

It's on the cards for a 2-1 Chester win. No manager, and no home win at home in 2017. Mecca will be sat at home at 4.50 and say to himself
"why couldn't you do that for me"
Not a big crowd tho. 1750 with the changing weather we are having today.

Disappointed to not see Waters or Jones get a chance today ahead of Sheron (who was by all accounts no better than either of our two) Formation a diamond with Aki just behind Hannah and Bell? Or perhaps Bell as target man and the other two on the wings. Good to try something different at least Just hope whoever comes in realises that Wade Joyce should be nowhere near this team. |
