Thought I would jump in before Riot.
Seen some green shoots of recovery in the last two games, unfortunately I don't think it will be enough to get a result.
Can see us going down 1-0

I think Tom Shaw's last game in caretaker charge will be a memorable one. I will add to the optimism and go for a 1-0 win. Score: Dover Athletic 0-1 Chester FC (Mahon) Attendance: 1,228 (124 Chester) COYB!

Dover 3 - 1 Chester. Richards not to play any part other than a 2 minute cameo as sub at the end. Decs chat going into meltdown at why we haven't appointed a manager yet before we get cut adrift.

Cut out the mistakes and we win this. Nice bonus would be to see Astles put Richards in the stands with a blood and thunder tackle.

This'll be my 3rd visit to Crabble and we haven't scored in the previous 2. Dover 2, CFC 1 Bell. Utmost respect for someone who does a fixture like this year after year. I like the idea of visiting as many grounds as possible, but having ticked it off my list in 2003 (when Margate played there), I've no real desire to go to the Crabble again!

Don’t mind Dover as an away trip to be honest, find it quite an easy one on the train as you’re on the new high speed rails from St Pancras. Tugged my collar a bit earlier when I saw these Euston problems ahead of tomorrow though, looks to be getting fixed now. Only awkward bit is it’s quite a walk from the station, don’t mind it myself but some will and it isn’t nice if the weather is rubbish. Get jelly legs on the steep climb at the end as well. The club actually have a golf buggy to take the elderly up and down it.

Went there last season, cricketers not a bad pub near the ground and the bar in the ground is decent, you can even watch the game live on the tv in there 🍺🍻

Got a feeling we might get something there... though I also wouldn't be surprised if we lose about 4-0.
On the train down for this one, looking forward to it. Will go for 2-0 Chester and 95 away fans.

Wouldn't it be perfect to give the new manager 3pts today to set us up with 11 point from 11 games something to build on COYB
