Wrexham 2-2 Orient. Could have done with them winning that one!

Who was it the other day saying refs always only add on four no matter how much time is wasted?

Yet again. It's happened far, far too many times over the last 10 months.

Heartbreak. 1-0.. Why was there 7 added minutes? Due to the refs in this league being otherwise unemployable. That one on Tues was a disgrace as well.

Yet again. It's happened far, far too many times over the last 10 months. It's absolutely gutting, but we've played a team doing well in the league and limited them to not much at all. Late goals happen, but it sounds a far cry from the likes of Hartlepool away where we were absolutely battered all game long. We're moving the right direction, it's just gutting to lose any game like that.

Yet again. It's happened far, far too many times over the last 10 months. Dead right but, I suppose, they've done what we did on Tuesday On most occasions in the past we've all seen the late goals coming due to our overly negative approach but I get the impression this wasn't the case today.

Trying to be positive about this. It sounds like it was an improvement on last season. 3 points from the last 2 games is decent.

It's a kick in the balls, but at the very least we appear to be getting ourselves organised a bit better.

It did sound a lot better and perhaps it was a bit unlucky this time, but it's just happened so many times and I think there's still a bit of a losing mentality in there. I'm a bit sick of seeing words like "cruel" and "unlucky". The last three goals we've conceded have all been in injury time, is that coincidence? It raises questions about fitness, concentration and most of all mentality.
Some positives to build on I hope, but god it's frustrating! I'll leave the match analysis to those who went, but as Marcus says, it's all about results, and sadly that's another defeat in familiar circumstances.

Good game at Liverpool today but I almost vomited when I heard that we conceded last minute. Feel so bad.

We shouldn't expect miracles as much as we want one. So long as we improve performances and pick up points there's hope. If heads go down then were on for a very troubled time....but we have to be optimistic and to use a favourite football fans term, 'keep the faith'.

When was the last time we won back to back games. Probably when Sharps was still here. Winning one game every 5 or 6 is not going to be good enough. Even if we'd have got that unlikely point today we would have still been in bottom 4. Worrying times.

We beat North Ferriby 3-0 at home then went onto win 3-0 at Eastleigh on the Saturday.

Do we concede a lot of goals at the end of each half or am I imagining that?

Gutting to lose that one. Poor match and had 0-0 written all over it. We were solid, with Halls playing in front of the back four, but always feared we would pay for our lack of ambition. Can only recall a header from Hannah and a late chance for MCCombe from a corner. Their goal came from a corner that wasn't cleared and dropped to one of their players in far too much space. Assuming all the added time came from a lot of petty bookings plus substitutions but we should have seen it out. Had one narrow escape when the ball came off the post and lobbed across the line into Lynch's arms but Stones are no great shakes. No stand out performances - a lot of 6 out of 10s. Hall Johnson probably the pick of the bunch. Toothless up front - zero sevice to be fair but I'm losing patience with Hannah. A word for the friendly fans at Maidstone both in the town centre and at the game. Just wished we'd had a bit more of a go...we need to create more if we're going to have a chance of staying up

Hard to take that especially so late on. Thought the lads deserved a point. Defended well all game. They had the better chances but at 0-0 it could of gone either way. We had a couple of good chances. Andy hall's looked so much better being part of a back 3 because he's not a right back. I know it's hard to take but let's take a positive and how much better we were since last time we played them at their place. Bigot is starting to get his message across. It will take time

Can't see why Halls is getting so much love to be honest, although I never saw him play right back. Apart from a 10 minutes spell in the first half I thought he was average at best, and at other times loose balls and an inability to tackle.
Our defence played well, but we really missed Shaw. He allows Dawson a bit more time and space on the ball. James put in a huge shift and Turnbull did well on the whole.
Archer seemed to lose heart pretty quickly with the lack of support and Hannah was pretty anonymous.
Why didn't we make any substitutions until the 84th minute? Hannah and Archer were both knackered after an hour and we had Zanzala and Bell sitting on the bench? White didn't look fit when he came on, perhaps everyone on the bench is carrying a knock? Very strange.
And what's the point in having a substitute goalie on the bench? Alex was clearly struggling for the last 15 minutes after his knock?
Disappointing not to hold on the for the draw, but not really surprising. We can't really complain.
