The most loyal fans - the STH will pay what we have to pay. Reducing ST is utter madness. Having a terrace for those on low incomes (as a community club should) is the way to get more people in the Deva. As someone said - "watch Chester from only £10" gets people over the threshold who may then become £18 payers or STH. We need to get people in. We need to dare to be different. So are you are saying the club shouldn't show any loyalty to the people who buy STs and not do any deals for ST holders or any incentives to keep ST holders buying there STs who may also be on low income but want to pay in one go as it's easier than finding £18 per game just keep milking them because they will pay what they have too. I know a few fans who were ST holders who now don't buy STs they just pick and choose there games. You cannot just expect to keep milking the same fans all the time. You get things like this all the time, Sky or BT used to offer deals to new customers but not existing customers, now they have realised it doesn't work as customers just leave, and now anyone can get the same deals. if you do say a £10 terrace, what's to stop all STs from saying ok I'll pay £10 a game instead of paying £350+ a season for a ST in the East Stand and costing the club £130+ as season for every ST that does that. Just a thought

The above are all valid views and demonstrate how very difficult it is for the club to know what to do for the best.

Like it or not the STH are the ones who will pay whatever, we already get a bloody good deal at £11 per game. we are the hardcore, we buy a ST to reserve our seat and support our club.
Slashing STH is madness, i agree with KG it would not improve gates whatsoever.
The hardcore will be there week in week out, we have 1000 STH already.
The real vision is reaching out to those on low incomes and attracting new fans to convert into STH. People wont buy a whole ST because its £150, but they might be tempted to get down more often than not for £10. As any marketeer knows, getting them in is the important bit as it gives you a chance to keep them coming.
Added to that the improved atmosphere and of course, the most important thing for me, a badge of honour to show we are, where we can, a club for ALL the community.

I think something like this should be trialled during a week where we have a game Saturday and then Tuesday. I know I won't be attending both games, can't justify paying £30+ just for myself when I have other financial commitments, especially at this time of year. Also, I prefer to sit but if the club did run a TPT I'd stand if it meant saving £8 and I feel a few would feel the same which would negate running the offer. It'd be great to see club run initiatives to attract new fans but I get why they have to be careful, running the risk of current fans taking advantage of the offer. If you went to 1 game at £18 because you can't afford two, you would go to 2 games at £10 costing £20 the club would actually make £2 more out of you.

We need a system that allows a supporter/ follower able to buy a monthly ticket which would help them throughout the year.Pay by which ever is easiest, that could be by cheque cash, direct debit but have same benefits as season ticket .No matter what the club does they can't win . Some of these issues always seem to about getting in for 'next to nothing'.Thankfully the majority of our supporters are prepared to pay the going rate with no issues as for the moaners they wouldn't turn up if there was a match on the tv..

How would it sit with away fans knowing we could get in for £10 when the cheapest they could manage was£18, I think it would cause uproar.

It's a legal requirement to offer the away support the same amount as home support.....so any travelling fans would have the option of paying £10. Not much of a problem when it's North Ferriby but for Wrexscum and Trashmere it would cost £10k per game.

As long as we charge the same for seating and for standing we are within our rights.

Why would we? It's a Ten Pound Terrace. Away fans would be charged the same as home fans for the same facilities - the comfort of a seat.

That's completely untrue, we charge away fans £18, not £15 which is the current terrace price.

Leyton Orient v Hartlepool Utd all tickets £5 on Easter Monday. Why dont we try something like that for last game of season v Boreham Wood? No point only having 1500 max in? Boreham wont bring many so why not. Let Season ticket holders bring a friend for free if they have an issue with it A lot of clubs are doing deals these days 2 games for price of 1 or cheap one off games.
