No, an oxymoron is a working class Tory voter. I know you boys must have had a "backed the wrong horse" moment after last night's humiliation but you're being a bit too defensive today. Careful now SWB, say anything bad about the far-left’s deity and you’ll get childish insults like “helmet” etc levelled at you. The insults are endemic of the far-right and the far-left since Brexit though so no surprise to see it from the usual suspects.

At least he had the courage to go on, especially after Nicola Sturgeon got mauled the previous night. Absolutely no surprise to anyone that Johnson is not now going to be interviewed. How complicit the BBC is with such a shocking state of affairs we‘ll probably never know.

Almost certain that Corbyn knew about these documents when he pulled the redacted stuff out during the debate last week. He’s been playing chess and is showing himself to be a master tactician.

According to the latest opinion polls the gap between Labour and the Tories, is down to 7 points. There needs to be loads of tactical voting and the young need to get out to vote, in droves. Labour need to keep hammering home the message that the NHS is directly threatened by any Johnson deal, with the Trump's USA and people will be paying US prices for NHS drugs (its our £350 million for the NHS per week, written on the side of the bus), that the odious Cummings used during the referendum. Again, that depends which poll you believe! What does seem to be happening though, in the polls I've seen at least, is a real lack of support for the Lib Dems. It looks as though they could be nowhere at the end of this.

Change UK was/is a total flop and I think there's a whole generation that will never trust the Lib Dems again. They're not even relevant as a protest vote in my eyes.

BBC producers confirming to other Party leaders this week that Johnson had agreed to also face the Andrew Neil roasting when he hadn’t (and still hasn’t agreed to - chickening out of yet another televised interview).
By the way, if the chairman of the Spectator (Neil) really can’t get an interview with the ex-editor of the Spectator (Johnson), he could always ask the current deputy editor to have a word with her husband (Cummings). Barclay brothers permitting, of course.
BBC News yesterday leading with Johnson telling us all how he spreads jam on scones, the day the NHS sell-off scandal broke. Corbyn got the brutal Neil treatment, Johnson got PR.
The political editor of the BBC becoming the official mouthpiece on social media for Dominic Cummings, the unelected authoritarian now running the Tories.
The same political editor of the BBC re-tweeting a Piers Morgan calling Corbyn a “chump” and calling on journalists to “pummel him on anti-Semitism”. Then she hastily deleted the tweet.
All this during purdah! It was often believed that the whole “BBC bias” was a bit of a conspiracy theory but it is safe to say now, after all of the above, and more, your license fee is essentially a donation to the Conservative Party.
And this is why I refuse to pay it.

Leaders debate on climate change on Channel 4 tonight. The only one I plan to watch. Wishful thinking maybe, but hopefully we'll get a bit of a break from 'the B word' tonight!
Climate change is the single most important issue facing the world, and Johnson and Farage are unlikely to bother turning up. Even if I knew nothing about the candidates, that would at least tell me who not to vote for.

So now you are encouraging people to commit a criminal offence? The mind boggles, it really does! Not necessarily. You could just not have a TV! Not necessarily that either. You only require a license to watch live TV and/or BBC iPlayer stuff. I’m all about on demand these days. The license fee is very outdated in this age of streaming and on demand access.

The license fee is very outdated in this age of streaming and on demand access. It does feel like it's on borrowed time. There have always been all sorts of grey areas, and that's only increased since on-demand. For example, what if you go round to someone's house who you know doesn't have a licence, plug your phone in and watch live TV on it? If you didn't like your host, you could phone up and report that live TV is being watched in a household with no licence. In fact someone could do that to you now that you've outed yourself as a non-payer!

The graphics YouGov (Tory mouthpiece blah, blah, I know) have produced alongside their MRP poll are quite interesting - shows the constituencies they have predicted to change hands and the predicted swing. A whole lot have really small majorities predicted and some seem pretty unlikely, such as Ynys Mon turning blue. Could all get very tight in the next couple of weeks.

It's bad enough that Johnson (along with Farage) didn't bother to turn up to the climate debate last night, but for his party to now accuse Channel 4 of breaking impartiality rules by pointing this out shows what a bunch of spoilt, lazy, arrogant bullies they are.

There was a time when you couldn't get politicians to shut up about their views. Now the Tories are terrified we might work out what they really intend to do and spend all their time devising ways of avoiding scrutiny.
The country needs to wake up and draw the obvious conclusion.

If I remember rightly, there was a bit of a spate of terrorist attacks in the run-up to the last election. Hope we don't see a repeat of that. Dreadful news yesterday in London, and it plays into the hands of the populist right. Not surprised the opportunist Johnson is straight onto it banging on about being tougher on crime etc.
