Great to see the Tory oxymorons proper losing it, in public and on this very thread.

I have had my Vote Labour leaflet and all it does is just slate the Conservatives and states nothing about what the M.P. has done for the area or proposes to do for the area if re-elected. It just confirms my perception that British politics has lost it's way and has become a race to the bottom. Clearly you don’t live in Chester because all the Vote Chris Matheson leaflets I’ve delivered have been entirely positive with absolutely no mention of the Tories.

Do you have a problem with people wanting to read these documents. Hey if it's genuine you may get a few more supporters. But let's read and come to our own decisions.

The poster iandychesterfc replied with a link about an hour ago. Not sure why you are in such a hot funk, it’s nobody else’s fault you can’t operate the interweb.

so tell me what is a hot funk because I've never heard it before Google is your friend here, but if you find that a bit of a struggle, ‘got funk’ is just a slang term for getting over-excited or unnecessarily agitated.

Labour have just exposed one of the biggest scandals this country has ever seen, and the media are trying to ask questions about anything else they possibly can! Because nowhere in the 471 pages does it mention anything about the NHS being for sale etc. We've had this discussion about actual reality before. reality is not just what dear leader says it is. It's more the issue of the cost of drugs produced by the US and sold to the UK. Currently the NHS and the multiple health boards have a lot of negotiating power e.g. currently the health boards are able to negotiate a lower price, and we only import around 20% of medication direct from the US. the other 80% or so coming from mainland Europe.
From those documents, or the pieces that I picked up on was that the US Pharmaceutical companies are frustrated by this, want to increase the pric, and volume of what they sell to us in a post-Brexit trade agreement. Currently US hospitals etc pay approx 2.5 times the cost of medication per person than we do. In a worst case scenario, it has been roughly estimated that any similar increase in prices of those drugs, sold direct from the US to the UK in a post Brexit situation, could cost over £500mill per week*
*these figures are rough estimates by the way, does not take into account what agreement we might come to with the US or Europe for that matter.
The main issue for me with this is, that the Conservative government have repeatedly said that the NHS is not for discussion, or would any part of it be on the table.. When quite clearly the cost, and supply of medication which would be supplied to the NHS is quite clearly up for discussion.
This could have a serious effect on the availability of medication, and also the cost of the NHS on the public purse to cope with any additional increase costs of medication.
Quite simply, this is not just about the cost of medication, it is the knock on effects of the increase in price on an already overstretched and understaffed NHS, and the subsequent problems that will cause.

Lol, JB with the Schroedinger’s Corbyn stuff.
You’ve got to admit though. Jeremy Corbyn managing to combine being a Czech spy, a Putin collaborator, a neo-Nazi, a member of ISIS, the IRA and the Communist Party with being leader of Her Majesty's Loyal Opposition, and still finding time to make jam, is bloody impressive.

I am no longer a floating voter. I watched the interview with corbyn and my minds made up. A complete train wreck. Pity the monster loony party are not around even they would pick up votes after that On this subject I see the Chimp in Chief is refusing to agree to an interview with Andrew Neil - a week after bottling the Channel Four leaders debate. That says it all doesn’t it.

Didn't see it, but to be honest Corbyn isn't great at interviews or on-the-spot questions.
I'd rather vote on policies though.
