Yeah so like you, they are putting the people of the country first. You know, the ones who pay the taxes here. You sound like an armchair football fan, the kind that support Man Utd, but never goto the games. Wish we could swap people like you with a couple of Syrian refugees. Country would be a better place for it.

Could be worse, you could delete all your friends because they don't follow the same political cult as you.

A portrait of Nigel Farage has today been unveiled to Nigel Farage, by Jim Davidson.
That really is just a tableau of Brexit, isn't it?

So can we expect the first of the £350m weekly payments to the NHS by this time next week then?
How will it be paid? Cash? Standing order?
I am 100% serious. Johnston was happy to pose in front of that ridiculous pledge and won a vote on the back of it - twice. If he doesn't deliver, he should be called out on it.

World not blown up? Thought not, next. Just keep an eye on them, that's all I'm saying. We're past the point of arguing whether we should be in or out, but this government has sold a lot of promises and gained the trust of communities that wouldn't normally vote for them. They can't blame the EU, they can't blame the opposition. Brexit is theirs. Whether you voted for it or not, don't give them an easy ride.

The promise that “austerity is over and no government depts will face cuts” has gone out the window within a month and now the PM has backtracked on his promise to over financial relief to those more northern areas affected by the flooding in the autumn.

I've heard absolutely nothing to suggest this is worth the fear and hostility they now face. You're right, I don't want it to work. I want us to learn from our mistakes and change for the better.

Just like Chester fc some people want them to fail.the world does not end in Europe so let's pull together It’s not up to us to make it work, it’s entirely with the politicians who made all the promises and now are in charge. I shall carry on as before, getting up and going to work (provided I still have a job). Waving plastic Union Jack flags or baking Brexshit cakes will not make it work.

Not wanting it to work is the same as wanting your own country to fail. I'm sure the next 5 years at least are really going to depress some of you. What ever the outcome. is it worth being bitter and upset you are not going to change any thing. We all know there is not a politician that does not lie. If this government achieve half of what they promise that will be a first for any party.I say give them a chance.

If it doesn't work though, it would likely mean a lot of people losing jobs along the way. Seems a strange thing to hope for. Although I agree with you on the subject of Brexit, as Ian said, it's up to the likes of Johnson and not us to make this work but I certainly won't be wishing hardship on my own country.

Hate what this country has become Serioudly thinking of selling up and renting my house out here and relocating to France. That would mean serving a section 21 on 3 families, who would need to find alternative accomodation. I hope your ;Brexit is worth it? Pull together my arse. Fu k this country.

For the sake of my family I hope it is a success, I just cannot see it happening, not with this shower running the country. And when it inevitably fails I’m just worried about who they will blame as they don’t have the EU to scapegoat anymore.

Still underwhelmed by the Labour leadership contest. I reckon we need a combination of all four. Rebecca Long Bailey’s policies. Emily Thornberry’s pugnacity. Lisa Nandy’s media savvy. Keir Starmer’s hair. Do you actual have an opinion, or just cut and paste other peoples and pretend they are yours ?

Seen a picture of s few Racists trying to burn the EU flag, but the only thing is it is made to EU regulations and is fire resistant. Unfortunately, that is the level of intelligence we are dealing with.
