Have I just read the "Game Makers" article on the website right? Absolute piss-take, no advertising of games to potential fans just volunteers telling seasoned fans where to go around the ground. How did the "GAME MAKERS" get on today? Now you mention it I didn't see any about today

Now you mention it I didn't see any about today Jonny Hughes and Mike Day were outside the Blues Bar. I assumed the 'game makers' would be fairly noticeable and stationed around the ground (wearing bright shirts with 'here to help' written on them or something like that). Walking in I didn't see anyone by the Harry Mac or west stand other than the usual programme/50-50 sellers. Fair play for the club trying something but I do feel it unnecessary

Thought they would be situated around the ground. Sounds like only Johnny and Mike were the ones doing it though? Didn't see anyone in the main stand bar the usual 50/50 ticket and programme sellers. I didnt hear any mention of it over the tannoy either before kick off and at half time. Would have been beneficial maybe for Cleggy to push it regards Squad Builder, Seals Lottery, CFU Membership etc. The sentiment is there with the idea but it's not reaching out to enough people. Need to think bigger

Also did we plug the reduced admission for next week over the tannoy?
I don't recall hearing anything about it

Also did we plug the reduced admission for next week over the tannoy? I don't recall hearing anything about it The only noticeable thing on the public address system was the bloke who started reading our own half-time score then embarrassingly stopped himself - "Chest-oh sorry that's us..."

The chairman hanging outside the club shop in his normal clobber isn’t going to make a difference. Why is everything such a half arsed attempt.

I spoke to them outside the club shop when dropping off some raffle tickets and to be fair they explained that the weather meant it wasn’t the ideal day for the games makers so they weren’t moving about much. I did see a few people talking to them about various things and buying raffle tickets. It sounded like the idea is to recruit 4/5 volunteers to share the role but at the moment only one person has come forward.
