On the subject of managers, Dino Maamria has been voted Manager of the Month after taking Nuneaton out of a relegation spot into the top half of Conference North. How long is his contract at Nuneaton? North West based for recruitment and contacts? He applied for our managers job in September too.

I wasn't suggesting he would be the answer. I remember he started off doing a great job at Southport but it soon went sour and he left for 'family and travel reasons'

Maamria is an excellent manager and has a very good track record at Northwich Victoria, did well at Southport under difficult circumstances and now doing a good job with Nuneaton.
He needs a good few seasons in charge there tbf. To build something up. If Marcus decides to walk end of the season I still think Phil Parkinson is a very good match for us regards player recruitment, budget and being local.

Much better call he has served his apprenticeship at a lower level and done well on a small buget not just a part season here and there.

Feel sorry for Bignot. He was left a crap hand with no money to put it right. He has improved the tea, but has been hampered by a chronic lack of firepower. Akintude, White and Hannah are not really up to it. Chances are being created now but not taken. Some of his tactical substitutions dont do him any favours. Split.
